Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst

You expect more than to have housekeepings dirty laundry and rubbish from 10 am to be still outside your door at 9pm. The penalty for complaining, no room refresh the next morning and had to request clean towels. No breakfast or coffee after 9am, No lunch, no room service, it's a trip into town if you need anything. Stayed 4 nights for GT Nationals, Rydges missed an opportunity to shine. Disappointing.

Clean rooms. Stayed in a spa suite and was impressed by the size of the room. However, what was off putting was the smell of the drains when in use and was startinmg show a little wear and tear in places.Two toilets, washing machine and oven were handy additions. Great view.Greated warmly by all here.Washing machines available for use.Small gym and pool/spa available too.Friendly warning, expect your wake up call to be hoons going down the straight first thing in the morning.

Live local and had the opportunity to stay here for the very first time.The check-in process was very easy and parking free with ample spaces.On first entering the room, it was evident that someone had been cooking with Indian spices as there was an odour of it. Rooms are starting to show their age with a few little areas that could do with some TLC. Showerhead leaking and when on would almost flood the bathroom floor. Couch also could do with a good clean.Location is perfect and ideal if a fan of motorsport. Bar downstairs opened at 4 pm, yet at 430pm , no one was to be seen, and we stood around for about 5 minutes, and no one showed, so we walked out.On checkout, there was a mini bar purchase that someone had charged to our room that we got asked to pay. Respectfully refused and advised staff that we never even knew there was one to begin with, so how could we even know to use it.Not one of our best stays at an establishment; overpriced for our experience.

Service was terrible!!.. We were made to feel like we were inconveniencing the reception staff.After supplying a credit card for security (different from card used for booking), we asked... Which credit card will you bill?"Staff responded with "Whatever card you give me!!"Sorry

Attended a training session with NECA. Registered as a Celiac. I had to hustle up the some food. First bar person really tried to look after me and organised it. Later on his supervisor seemed uninterested in my situation and told me that one food was gluten free. It wasn't and I had an upset stomach for over a week. Not a good result.

I felt paranoid most of the time as there was a mouse in our room!! I called the reception to let them know about our concern. Waited until someone comes over for about 10mins but none, so had to go myself. We were moved to a new room on the same level. The new room though isn't the cleanest.The location is undeniably good. Parking is adequate and breakfast is okay.

We stayed here for 2 nights. First night was quiet good sleep. 2nd night was noisy up until about 1100pm. Great location if you are into V8 racing being right on Mount Panorama race track. Comfy bed nice room. Shower was ridiculous. I am tall and you have to stand in the bath to have a shower. The bath is tall nit like a normal bath so is high off the floor to start with. My head was scraping the roof of the bathroom and the shower head was hitting my chest.

I stayed 5 nights at the Motel and was not pleased with several thngs. The rooms are too big for a single person and one can never find the light switches. The room service was poor as several of my group had to request toilet paper and tissues. The wash basin in the bathroom was built for tall people and a short person didn't stand a chance of using it comfortably. Another member of my group and I requested lunch one day only to be told we that lunch was not served. Finally one of the receptionists took pity on us and gave us 4 slices of stale bread, some butter, some vegemite and peanut butter. The restaurant should hire a decent chef as the one there does not know much about food. The last night we were there was typical of the food - spaghetti carbonara (which was tasteless) and salmon fillets with lemon sauce (the salmon had been left sit so long it was dried out and overcooked). Most other nights the food was barely edible and I am used to good simple food. The Happy Hour" in the bar only applied to the house wines which were barely drinkable."
