I was very unhappy with the service provided by Alan Alpass. They were unable to contact me to discuss the specific concerns raised in my unedited review but they were able to contact me to initiate defamation proceedings against me.

I used them in the past on a legal matter which they drafted a reply letter for me I was asked for $1000 retainer but was assured that the reply letter would not cost anywhere near that amount they charged me $940

I had a phenomenal experience here with Barbara Kramer.I had a horrific experience with Laurie Cavill. He should be avoided at all cost. When I came to him about an international child custody issue, he implied that I should just take the child without the other party's consent. His words were, what's stopping you from just going?"He purposely jacks the bill up by doing erroneous work. He ignored my wishes and drafted letters without my consent. He sent confidential documents to the opposing party's lawyer. He was unprofessional and a bully. He was incompetent in his legal ability and I wrote most of the amendments to our proposed parenting orders. He would ask that something be changed

Yes I’m reviewing them twice - they carried out work that was not authorised, urgent or required - then charged me. I still await my refund asked of them many times.

I would not recommend this business. The service provided was very uncaring and without any sensitivity at all, at a very difficult time in my life. I have written a complaint to the Victorian Services board and commissioner.

Tried to charge $8500 for a section C90 to settle financials from separation which was done over 10 years ago. All I needed was the osier work done. I received services from another solicitor for $1700. I asked them to justify the price difference. Tumbleweeds tumbleweeds. I would not recommend them as their prices are to the extreme of ripping people off. Disgusting. One star is to much. My real name has not been used in this occasion.
