The nursery itself is lovely but I honestly find the staff very unfriendly and rude. My husband stood there waiting to be served and the woman ignored him. No other customers and he was right in front of her. She avoided eye contact. This is not the first time we have been made to feel unwelcome. I don’t know how they get so many good reviews unless they are treating people closer to their age (older) with more respect. It’s is a real shame. We won’t be spending our money there.

Great variety of plants and garden trinkets but everything is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced.Staff don't seem the friendliest either as others have pointed out.

I am always disappointed when I visit this nursery. For a wonderful garden area this place is a massive let down. The staff are generally cranky or rude. The nursery is full of stock that should be thrown in the bin, plants needing sun are rotting in the shade, you can’t navigate parts of the nursery. The back barn area smells terrible and I can’t imagine anyone wishing to purchase anything from this section of the nursery. All in all, the merchandising of the nursery is woeful, lots of stock needs to go in the bin and they struggle to give what most gardeners are looking for, that being inspiration.Their potted colour is disgusting, but if you’re after a rare plant it’s a good place to come.Shame the owners and staff have no idea how to make the place presentable , maybe weed the paths and space out the plants a little, all in all it’s a disgrace of a place to visit and I cannot understand how the place gets ok reviews, must be friends or family.Terrible to say, but you’ll have more success finding a healthy plant at Bunnings .. yep, sad but true.

I love this nursery. The staff are so helpful and have a great knowledge of their stock. I had searched all over Western Sydney looking for Christmas trees and found the perfect species and very healthy plants at Longview. Keep up the great work.

Good selection of plants. They had different Japanese maple trees. Staff is helpful and quite knowledge. Price wise is slightly higher compared to nearby nurseries.

So clearly they have lost interest in business, customers and their plants. Went to identify a tree we would like to buy and ask if they would come and suggest trees they could then supply us. We were prepared to spend a few thousand dollars on plantings. 15 years ago they designed, supplied and planted our entire garden in a house we had previously owned - fantastic. This time there was no one else in the entire store or grounds. The lazy staff spent their time talking to each other and barely acknowledged we were even there. No attempt to ask if we needed help, then when we approached them after looking at their plants, they barely attempted to engage with us - clearly not interested in customers or having a business. The grounds are unkempt with weeds everywhere and the plants look like they would die if you bought any of them. The shop is covered in dust. Went to another nursery at Mt Boyce which showed what a real business can do. Never going back - and at this rate they won't be there to go back to in a month anyway. They need a sign out front Don't bother coming in - because we don't care"."

Knowledgeable, friendly staff and best cold climate selection in the mountains.I moved to the Blue Mountains a year ago and quickly caught the garden making bug. I now probably come into Longview at least weekly just to have a browse and see if they have the latest plant I’ve been researching online (they basically always do!) .. it’s been a great place to get hands on knowledge of my personal interest in natives and otherwise hard-to-source Japanese/East Asian shrubs and trees.I’ve also found that their selections often have the best ‘form’ in the mountains (especially their Enkianthus and viburnums), showing that they and their grower partners take the patience and care to shape their plants from a young age.Definitely my favourite nursery in the upper mountains :)

I always call into Longview when I have been up the mountains. This place is brilliant. Lots of plants and different ones from the usual nursery stuff. Plenty of choice and great prices I think. Staff always nice and helpful. I called in despite the rain and the two ladies working were busy cleaning and moving things but still said hello and asked if they could help. Great team.

Nice little nursery. Specialises is cold climate, mostly deciduous plants. Decent prices and some mature trees available. Definitely worth a visit.
