My favourite place for a long black. Always nice sitting outside with my dog and enjoying the sun/happenings of King Street.This is a laid back/quirky cafe with friendly staff, books for sale and even a piano you can play.

A cool Newtown hangout! I have come here for a friend's gig and it was a lot of fun. Lots of books, plants and comfortable places to sit. Me and a friend share a bottle of red for $15 which is probably the cheapest bottle that you can get in Newtown!

Good location, great owner, fascinating stock. Really, really welcoming atmosphere. N64 on the back room projector and chess board on tables. Brilliant place to vibe or chill an work.

Awesome gig venue, has an eclectic program including poetry readings! Also awesome menu. A lovely locals vibe and a great place to kick back in for an afternoon into the evening!

Garden Lounge hosted an excellent live music event with an array of talented music artists performing for the best part of the Saturday. I can't wait to come back to kick back, read a book and enjoy a coffee in this cosy space.
