Being in the market to update our kitchen, we inspected the new kitchens of 2 friends, both of whom had previously engaged the services of Anna Duff of “Heart of the Home Designs”. So we met with Anna and decided to also engage her services to design and oversee the transformation of our tired old kitchen and dining area into a modern, sleek and functional new design.Working with us, Anna not only designed the kitchen but most importantly, relieved us of virtually all the stressful responsibilities which go with such a large project. Anna went above and beyond our expectations.Anna:- arranged 3 quotes for the build, took us through each quote and engaged the successful builder,- discussed, showed us samples and recommended products like bench tops and cupboard materials, handles, colours etc,- recommended retailers for us to deal with for the purchase at trade prices, of any appliances we wanted to replace,- was there for us right the way through the build to handle any queries or concerns we had, and of course and most importantly, oversaw the whole project for us.We can only say how grateful and lucky we were to find and engage her. I had a great experience working with Anna and as a first time renovator am delighted to say it was a positive one. I needed my entire kitchen remoulded and updated from the first step in the design process Anna came to my apartment to discuss what I had envisioned and how to make it work within my budget. Anna was very knowledgeable and professional and sent me a quote and layout design very promptly.There were many different tradesman involved and Anna project managed the whole process very efficiently and kept me informed of their progress and discussed with me any questions or concerns along the way.I am thrilled with my new kitchen and have already recommended Anna to friends and family who are going to be renovating their properties.

Anna designed my kitchen for me. It is a small area and she came in, thought outside the box and created a functional kitchen filled with things I never knew existed. My pantry of drawers is the envy of my friends. It is great because of my bad knees getting down finding stuff at the back of shelves was one thing I hated. Love it is an understatement. Recently I got help from Anna with arranging the construction and installation of a kitchen drawer. The work was done very professionally, punctually and to a very high standard. In addition the actual installation was very non-intrusive and smooth. After the installation of the drawer, Anna also organised the demonstration of various drawer organisers, which I subsequently bought (via her as well). I appreciate the fact that I could experience and then get what I really needed. I am happy I know Anna, because now I can use her services any time I need them.

Anna has now completed 2 kitchen projects for us. One involves adding new cabinetry tower in our apartment to house our additional kitchen ovens. She matched the new one so well with the existing one, they looked like they were done at the same time! Anna also set about converting plain shelves into functional drawer storage systems for large heavy duty kitchen appliances to drawers for pantry items such as canned food items, spices bottles and oil and sauces drawers. Everything is now in its place with quick and easy accessAnna turned an ordinary cupboard with 4 shelves by the front door into a row of multiple, functional shoe drawer cupboard and as a result these are neatly housed and easy to retrieve when needed.Anna also helped us organised our cutlery and cooking utensils drawer space and it is now such a delight to access these items on a daily basis.Anna is a professional with the highest level of customer service commitment providing quality products and value. Anna is punctual in her meetings as well as in all her correspondences and responses. She is a warm, friendly person and thinks outside the box to solve problems.
