This is our first time visiting Tasmania, we have no idea where to get some good food in Penguin, then Penguin House caught our attention. Definitely a great choice, nice food, reasonable price, friendly staffs and owner. Highly recommended! :)

Very tasteful decoration, friendly staff and warm place.Delicious pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit. Excellent smoothie !Not to be missed in Penguin.

Friendly Asian fusion casual dining in Penguin. I had Crispy pork rice bowl, which was delicious, however the serving was bit small for my liking. A little bit more rice and salad would make the dish better.

The ingredients are always so fresh. I love anything with the beef brisket in it (I’ve tried the salad, roll and burger). I also love the curry laksa and the bao buns.The only thing I’d suggest is to keep the front door closed so the cold air doesn’t come in

Food is amazing! had the tofu rice bowl and the slow cooked brisket.Service was also great with a happy and relaxing environment.We will definitely be back while we are working in the area! Thank you so much.

Just off Main road, top end of a side street. Slight confusion as signage says Penguin Cafe.The food however is great with subtle Thai flavours. I had Chicken sesame rice bowl with side of mushroom chips. Main by itself may have been a bit small. Perhaps they could offer small and large versions? Otherwise recommended.

Had a terrific lunch at this cafe today…The host was willing to exchange the chicken in the Laska to tofu to make a wonderful meal. My friend had the Salad Bowl with noodles - lovely food.Service was polite and efficient, and the restaurant very clean and inviting.Great spot
