My first time dining at The Rusty Plough & I’ll definitely be back. I had the slow cooked beef cheeks… the portion size of my meal was very generous, both the meat with the accompanying veggies were so well cooked & super delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable, hearty dish on a cold night. Looking forward to going back & trying out more of their menu.

My second visit here, gone are the impersonal tablets to order and in is fantastic service.The waitress that served us was fantastic, polite and happy service. Made us feel very welcome.The dining room was warm and inviting and the food was great. Priced better than the competition at the local pub.My steak was cooked well and the rich sauce with the roast vegi medly was fantastic.My partner had the barramundi this was also really good cooked well and a nice side of greens and sauces.Great meals, we will be back for sure.

Absolutely fantastic! Our waitress was efficient and polite but the most enjoyable part of the experience was the meal. I've had plenty of steaks to compare it to but the scotch fillet off the menu would top the lot. The jus was exquisite and the subtle flavours of every element on the plate was simply divine.I can't speak for my companions but as far as I could tell everyone enjoyed themselves.Congratulations team it's a definite improvement from the previous owners.

My Barramundi was delicious, hubby's steak was cooked perfect, the young lady that served us was delightful. The setting of the Rusty Plough in the evening is beautifully lit up with hundreds of lights. Quality food at the right price...better than the local...for sure. We will be back

Tried this place for the first time and needless to say I'll be back.Great value for money, the food was delicious from the giant chicken wings, perfectly cooked steak, and massive ploughmans supper.Nice range of craft beers supporting a lot of local brewers, service was top notch and super friendly.The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and I'm looking forward to trying out the beer garden when summer returns.

The place is very lovely and the decorations fit the theme. We came to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately, we did not have the best of experience. I’m sure this place is amazing when staffed accordingly.We ordered the Polenta Chips, Ploughman’s Supper, Chicken Pasta, Barramundi, and a Couscous salad I believe (not sure on the last one). The chicken pasta and Ploughman’s came out the same time, but everything else came out when the two people were half done. The barramundi that was ordered was never put through the system so we were waiting for a meal that would have never came.The place seemed understaffed and that’s not the fault of the workers, they did amazing despite the predicament they were in. They did offer us a discount on our food. I think some more staff should be hired in both front of house and the kitchen, as a chef had left leaving the kitchen to do many orders.

Had a fantastic night at the Rusty Plough. Great atmosphere and live music!The chicken wings are a must! The wagyu burger and chicken parmi were phenomenal. Big serves!

Nice staff really great location. Food was slightly disappointing as my steak was over cooked (requested medium but I got very well done) and the crispy potatoes were mixed with other veggies and sauce so they weren’t crispy. I think the idea behind the food is from a good place but recommend the food flavours are allowed to speak more for themselves rather than compete against each other so you’re not overloaded.Not a fan of the menu system, it takes away the personal element of a restaurant. I reckon they could save money on that and put elsewhere. The place has immense potential and would suit live music outside. I’d go back and give the food a second go, but right now I think it’s overpriced for the quality you receive.
