Beautiful spot! Dusty but that's expected in the outback. Good fishing spot. Beautiful sunset, and beautiful weather. Couldn't ask for a better camping spot.

Muddy water, black sticky mud. But if you want to drop your van off before going 110klm to the dinosaurs stampeded probably a good option for a free over night.

Conveniently close to town (3 km put) yet Conveniently far enough out.Peaceful yet popular under a shady tree if early enough. Campfire each night. Cows and emus strolling past. Very relaxing.

Another great free campground by the river in Winton. Good for kids to swim although it is muddy. Amazing sunsets. Flies are not too bad. Nice little town with charm to explore.

Great spot if you're set up to free camp. Plenty of space and all with a view of the lake. The sunsets were stunning!

Free camp on the edge of winton where cows and emus run free. Very peaceful. BYO everything including firewood, a fabulous place to chill.

A great free camp a few kilometres south of Winton. No power or water. An easy walk into town for those who like exercising.

Great camping spot by the water very close to Town of WINTON.Water levels are done about 2 metres but still worthy of a great camping holiday.No fees.Dog friendly.Cattle roaming freely.No amenities.Bring your own firewood.Plenty of shady trees or open spaces to suit everyone.
