One of the highlights of my AU trip. Good food. Warm and friendly staff. Relaxing sceneries. Would do it all over again.

The Q Train
I would highly recommend this as an excellent day out. From the minute we arrived on the platform to the time we left the staff service was extraordinary. Have to give a particular shout out to Daniel who was our host for the day. He answered every question with good humor and was able to enhance our experience with his knowledge of the menu, the train and the area. Every course was planned for winter & it was the perfect antidote to the bleak and cold of day we attended. I was impressed that the menu included not only matching wines but if you preferred you could get a matching beer or mocktail. This was ideal for the driver. The train trip itself is like a journey back to the days before it was all rush, rush, rush! The scenery you pass can be enjoyed because you actually get to see it. We enjoyed this day so much we are already planning on our next trip with friends.

This is simply one of the best experiences you can have in this area. Amazing food, drinks, scenery, train but most of all the people. Liam and Sharon were our hosts and they made the experience magical with their humour, attentiveness and great attention to detail. Highly recommend this train ride to everyone. If you can, do the 1st Class experience.

Unfortunately, for us this was a disappointing experience that we had been looking forward to for some time.The staff were welcoming and the service pleasant.For the price of first class dining, the food was very underwhelming.The main course appeared to have been sitting in an oven far too long, it was dry and inedible.The churro dessert was overcooked and rock hard.The train ride consisted of viewing backyards and some wetlands on the way out and the exact properties on the reverse journey.We would not recommend this experience to any family or friends.

Such a great day out. Amazing service from the moment we stepped off our bus onto the train. First class is a great private option. A lovely 5 course degustation menu with matching drinks. Awesome views along the way and it’s great to be able to get off at a couple of stations and take some photos. A lovely experience that everyone should try.

If you are looking for something special to do for any occasion I suggest you do the Q train first-class dining option. Congratulations must go to the staff who were very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. The food was just Amazing. The whole experience and atmosphere were just fantastic

The Q Train
Next-level experience, everything was impeccable and delicious.I don’t know if there are different packages but ours was 5 courses each with matching wines. We also ordered a cocktail which we definitely didn’t need but was sooooo good (passion fruit mojitos)I highly recommend arriving with plenty of time to spare, we were offered a drink on arrival and it gave us time to enjoy our drinks, take some photos, check out the train and get seated where there was already warm bread waiting for us.There are a few stops where you can use the restroom, always a long queue at the ladies (not so much the mens).Between all the wine and food, we were ready for a nap by the end, if I were to do this again I’d make a weekend or an overnight trip out of it, something to keep in mind if you’re not local.I have to also mention that it’s well organized behind the scenes. I had to adjust our reservations more than once and they were so patient

What a superb afternoon.The staff, food and service were all excellent. The train 'trundles' along from Drysdale to to Queenscliff and return with about a 20min break at Queenscliff to get off and walk about.Very chillaxing....Highly recommend this as a great relaxing afternoon.

Food quality was a lot better than I expected and it was a very unique experience. The drinks pairing was done superbly wellOnly issue was there was a dead fly on the curtain and cup was a bit dirty.Otherwise, definitely something interesting and worthwhile to do!
