I recently had the opportunity to stay at the camp grounds by the dam and I must say, it was one of the most spectacular experiences I have had. The camp site itself was immaculate, with lush green grass and towering trees surrounding it. The serene and tranquil environment made me feel right at home amidst the beauty of nature. The facilities provided were top-notch, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the camp grounds, and I am already looking forward to planning my next visit. All in all, I highly recommend this camp ground to anyone who wishes to bask in the natural beauty of their surroundings. It truly is a hidden gem that should be on everyone's bucket list.

wonderful place to visit / campcaretakers are extremely rude and wouldn't let us in after hours even though we had paid and booked, eventually got in after going bqck for phone service amd calling them.also you can only book 2 nights online in peak season so we paid for a extra night just so we could stay for one. extremely disappointing. better people skills would go a long way

The place is absolutely beautiful but the management is absolutely poor. Absolutely rude staffs for no reason, noone bothered to care about good customer service. Be prepared to hear some words like ‘GET OUT AND COME BACK NEVER’. Ruined the whole experience.

Great spot for camping or the odd day at the lake. The scenery is to die for and really makes you feel relaxed. Our family always have fun here whether it's, fishing, tubing, kayaking or on the paddle board. There are flush toilets and showers and also electric BBQs if you want to bring something to cook for lunch.

My family had a reservation here for Easter and they arrived on Thursday. I arrived on Easter Saturday after a 4 hour drive to meet my auntie, uncle, cousins etc and spend a couple of nights camping with them. I was not allowed to join them as they said I had no reservation. I told them I was with my family who did have a reservation and were already set up. I had a single, one man hiking tent. They said the campground was full. I would maybe understand if I was pulling a large trailer, or if the place was thronged with people. But it wasn’t, and I literally just had a 1.2kg hiking tent and a sleeping bag. I was okay with leaving my car outside and going in with my backpack and hiking tent, but I was refused entry. I offered to pay any fees, but the security man said it was full. (It was far from full.)My family also came out to talk to them and confirm I was indeed with them. Anyway, they refused to let me camp with my family, so I am now booked into a hotel in Singleton for the night.I am in disbelief that a campground would have a policy like this. No common sense, no humanity, no understanding. Embarrassing carry on. Those in charge should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Is this what camping in Australia has become?

Had a wonderful camping experience at Lake campground. Natural beauty is the best. Our doggo enjoyed it as well. Amenities are nice. There is no n/w and international connection which was bliss. It is paradise for water sports and recreational activities. Nearest town is singleton which is 30mins drive. Though men’s toilet was bit stinky. Ladies one was clean. Caretakers were friendly and helpful.

Absolute gem for campingWe love LSC and have been there twice already this year (2023). It’s a large property and the road is paved right throughout. The water is nice and cool and great the kids to play or kayak. There are no mobile signals; ideal fr being cut off but not being too far away from the city. The kitchen and showers are very clean. The managers, Eileen and Mick are super accomodating and always on property.Ps - tends to get super crowded on long weekends and school holidays, so best get there early if you want to select a good spot or want a waterside camp.
