Chirnside Park Primary School
Dont know what those other people are on about. I went to this school for all of my primary years and loved it. The principal is awesome, and always listens to your problems. The teachers are good, they are young and with it, and are pretty cool. They always come to out of school activities if you have them, and they are very supportive. I loved my time there, I got to be a house captain, and they really helped me with my confidence. If you have a kid looking for a primary school, then this one is pretty great.

We are going into our third year at this school and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience over the last 2 years. I spent a long time considering all schools in the area (both public and private) and can honestly say I made the right decision. A wonderful school, just the right size to provide a lovely sense of community and familiarity amongst students, staff and parents. It also has the right level of resources and programs to ensure your child achieves their best. The school's literacy program is second to none, I recall touring the school and noticing the difference in the quality of the written work to what I had seen at others and I was very impressed. I have not been disappointed, my daughters academic progress has been incredible through Prep and Grade 1, all thanks to the excellent program and dedicated teachers catering to individual needs. Speaking of staff, I am continuously impressed by all of the staff at the school. The Principal and Vice-Principal are obviously very committed, and are always looking for ways to make the school even better for the families. In the last 12 months alone we have seen a complete makeover of the outside of the school, with new soft surface play spaces, nature play area, outdoor murals, veggie patch, chicken yard etc. Finally, emotional intelligence / soft skills are really important to our family, and the school does really well in this area too with a program and school values designed to focus on ensuring children are well mannered, taught how to show respect, how to deal with difficult situations/emotions etc. Communication is excellent too. I would highly recommend Chirnside Park Primary School!!!

I would like to commend Chirnside Park Primary School and its wonderful Principle, Vice-Principle, Teachers and Staff for a fantastic two years spent at the school so far.My eldest son is just starting grade 2 this year and i couldn't be more pleased with the curriculum that is offered, i can honestly say that he has had a very successful start to his education thanks to the professionalism, friendly and caring nature that all students receive. As a parent the school encourages involvement in your Childs education which adds to the benefits. The smaller numbers at the school offers a warm family environment and personally it has been reassuring to know that your child is known to all teachers and students therefore nothing goes unnoticed from achievements to individual needs that maybe required.Thank you Chirnside Park primary for your dedication.Looking forward to many more wonderful years ahead.

My daughter attended the school for 2 years. Although the layout of the school is beautiful it's a shame the school have made a name for themselves through there narcissistic tactics. My experience was quite disappointing, and I would never resommenrecommend anyone who loves there children to this school. Favourism is a high priority on their list.

My child went to Chirnside Park Primary for 4 & 1/2 years. We changed schools last year, due to constant bullying, verbal abusive behavior, disgusting & sexual language in the play ground. This had such a negative effect, my child's confidence was so low, anxious every morning before school, we are working on the repercussions with new school.Informing teachers & principal had no positive outcome, nothing was followed up or solved.I recommend taking a tour at other local good schools! My child is now an ambassador for anti bullying, & is finally receiving the care, attention & education that is of a higher standard than Chirnside Primary. Hope this prevents another child from being bullied....

Hello! My name is Mia, and I will tell you my experience with this school.I went to this school for my whole primary school journey, and OH MY GOSH. I loved it so much. I met some of the best people I could ever meet, and thanks to those people, started to draw and animate. Now I’m hoping to make it my career in the future!! They held parties at the end of the year, celebrate Christmas and Easter (and many other holidays) and take what’s trendy at that time and make it into something that kids will enjoy learning! When I graduated, it was the hardest thing to do. Seriously. This school made me feel so happy all the time that I didn’t want to go. All the staff are incredibly understanding and very trustworthy. If you ever had a problem, you could talk to them. They're also (most of the time) open for just a little chat! They teach so many amazing subjects and hold so many amazing events, like the Fun Run, Colour Run, House Competitions, Productions, KK and SOOO much more!!However, there are some negatives. I was bullied for 5 years straight by about 8 different groups of people and about 5 individuals because I cried a lot, had big front teeth, I was short and I was pretty different from everyone else. The teachers didn’t do much. They did try, but the bullies kept on going, and eventually they would only say “check the Wheel of Choice”, which... in my opinion... did not help. The main playground is also quite... dangerous? Don’t take that seriously though... the look of the place is pretty well done... but there was a kid at the school that fell over and hit their knee on the side of a log and got severely injured. I remember seeing the girl surrounded by a staff member and two paramedics. But apart from the negative part of the school, this school was, and still is, pretty amazing! Please, if you are a parent, send your kids here! I bet the bullying has shortened and the injuries have stopped being so severe! Before this huge review comes to an end, I’d like to thank my teachers. Mrs. Steer, Miss B (I loved her so much and I forgot her name qwp ), Ms. Cleary (Ryan), Ms. Westgarth (Russel), Mrs. Uren and Mrs. Rosewall. You all really helped me get through primary school!Aight imma head out. Thanks for reading ^^

The Senior Adminitration of this school ought to be ashamed of themselves. At this school, teachers man handle students and refuse to identify themselves by way of giving their names to parents. If you care to do unpaid work at this school, then you can go around and assult other parents, you can stick your fingers up at them and swear at them in front of their children and the principle will cover it up for you. Their is no privacy. Your confidentiality will be breached at whim by the principle who will happily discuss your personal info with other parents and students. Any info given (eg domestic violence) can and will be used against you and your children will be put at risk and disadvantaged. The schools duty of care is only to themsleves and covering up their dishonest atrocious behaviour.

Fantastic school. I am a former school teacher and I am very fortunate to get an up close look at all the programs and opportunities on offer for students at Chirnside Park whilst in the process of helping creating their online tour. The passion and dedication of this community, especially the teaching staff is amazing. A very warm and nurturing school with great leadership. All parents in the area MUST have Chirnside Park on their list of schools to choose for their child. Highly recommended!

A wonderful school with an amazing community vibe. The school is lead by an incredibly caring principal and assistant principal and every member of staff happily goes above and beyond their job descriptions. I attended this school and now have my own child enrolled and find that it has all the advantages of a bigger school and also a welcoming community feel where each teacher knows every student. It caters for both students who may need a bit of extra help, with early intervention literacy programs and also caters for those students that are capable of more with extension programs. It truly offers an incredible learning environment.
