Eclectic Tastes Cafe & Pantry
Friendly service and an all day menu with some unusual offerings. I had the Turkish eggs with home made flatbread, which was delicious and had the perfect amount of yoghurt and chilli oil to dip the bread in. However, both my poached eggs and my husband's on his mushroom benedict were overcooked, resembling hard boiled eggs. I'd definitely return though, as the flavours of each dish really worked. Hopefully, the eggs were just a one off, given this is at the higher price point for Ballarat by the time you add extras (bacon was an optional extra for the dishes we chose).

Excellent well presented tasty food, good quality drinks, reasonable waiting times. Constructive feedback:1. Said hello to the counter staff on the way in, she asked how I was without ever making eye contact and hurried off without hearing my reply. Manners are always important.2. The hot drinks were delicious but the “large” sizes were pathetically medium. It felt like we paid large prices for a small serving.

Great coffee and breakfast (and takeaway treats for later). Staff were very attentive (came out with the right cutlery for what we ordered) and the dogs were very welcomed

We visited here without a booking on a Friday morning and the staff were more than accommodating to find us a table. This is a beautiful place, service was very good & food came out quite quickly! The servings were generous and absolutely delicious

Our group of 8 had a wonderful experience at this lovely cafe. Mains and deserts and not a bad plate between us. Lovely Milkshakes and coffee. Would happily go back any time. Thank you.

Eclectic Tastes Cafe & Pantry
We came in this morning for brunch after another cafe “couldn’t accommodate us”. Total opposite experience here. Outstanding coffee, beautiful poached eggs, the kids pancakes were fabulous and best of all the service was wonderful. We frequented Eccelctic Tastes for takeaway during lockdowns, but had never eaten in before. We will definitely be back.

The lamb gnocchi was delicious, the servers were all very attentive even though I was sitting outside with my cat, even offered me a blanket because the weather was cold. Very quick service too.

The Friday night dinner service was lovely. Excellent range of options on the menu and all quality food presented beautifully. Cosy spaces created to dine in and excellent service. Definitely will come again!
