Had cake for a birthday from here on 2 occassions.... both times made me sick.Don't buy from here unless you want food poisoning.

Brilliant place. Love the sausage rolls. I get one every time I go for my weekly shop. Lovely girl today helped me out. The sausage roll fell out of my wheelchair and they replaced it. Great staff. They all are helpful and kind.

Absolute worst “gourmet lamb” pie I’ve ever had. Next to no lamb in the pie and it was filled with what looked and tasted like a pumpkin jelly drowned in pepper.The sausage roll too was exceptionally disappointing and could only stomach 2 bites before having to wash the taste out of my mouth.

I don’t know how they won all these awards, unless they use special ingredients for the judges? Just bought and ate a plain meat pie, plain being the operative word, no taste at all and I consider myself a pie aficionado. Maybe I’m missing something, I don’t know?

They have good customer service but make sure you double check the ingredients in the pies when you’re buying because their labelling is misleading. And watch out sometimes they give you the wrong pie.

Pies used to be the best , but now ,after my last one I'm never going back ; all gravy gelatine and what discernible meat there was was gristle. I've never tossed a pie halfway through but I couldn't get thru this one so I tossed it to the crows .
