Hearn's Port Fairy Accommodation

We discovered this lovely accommodation two years ago when it was advertised on Luxury Escapes. We returned again this month, as we very much enjoyed our stay in the shoulder season. Top quality villas, well designed, well appointed, brilliant views over the beach (you literally step off the balcony onto it), the rocks, the surf and the odd brave surfer. We prepare our own food, drink wine in the spa, have the gas-log fire going for warmth (and ambience) as necessary. The waves breaking on the rocks is a wonderful background sound. When we want to venture into the town, the people are friendly, plenty of restaurants, heritage buildings, pleasant walks along the wharf and out to the point. Perfect for couples, or authors wanting somewhere inspirational to write their novels.

Stayed at saltwater lodge and the property is spectacular. The view, the location and the house are fantastic. Unfortunately the house was filthy which was disappointing, and seems to be a common experience. For the luxury price, I would have expected it to be cleaned

We did a murder mystery weekend, using the two linked apartments, which means everyone had a room in which to sleep, and to get into their costumes. Kitchen provided us with dinner and breakfast. The view is superb.

A huge thank you to Lyn in the office at Hearns. We turned up with no accommodation Thursday afternoon at 3pm, she quickly found a wonderful property for us right on the beach. She was extremely helpful. We have used Hearn's a few time and they have always been professional.

Have used Hearns Port Fair Accommodation to book the Hearns Beach Villas for many years. Staff have always been really helpful and checking in and out has been really smooth and easy. Accommodation we have stayed in have all been well maintained and clean.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful ocean view appartment. A perfect spot for relaxing, reading a book on the deck, going for walks on the beach, excellent facilities for the family. A great getaway all year round!

Salt water retreat. Luxury this is not. No cushions for outdoor recliners. BBQ not functional. Ovens filthy. Freezer has a big hole. No coffee pods or basic kitchen supplies. Yes, a great view but for the price, forget it

Was a little disappointed with a Family Easter Escape. Could not have asked for a better location and paid the high price per night for the location but the house needed to be cleaned dusting cobwebs (so thick they have been there for months) hair in drains food on dishes basic maintenance needs attention.

Too shabby for the price. We love Beauvais and have stayed here for years but at $280 a night, sadly, it has just got too shabby for the asking price. It just needs a little TLC... there's rips in the curtains, dusty and old fabrics, lights not working, no wood supplied, no Wifi, rooms stacked with linen and tears on the couch, a very small TV. It is still great for large family groups and the folk festival crowd who just want somewhere to crash for the night.

Can do a lot better in this beautiful part of the world. Won't go into details, but search around. For accommodation, Hearn's, not so accommodating.
