Easily the freshest fish I've ever had in fish and chips. The tartar sauce was absolutely phenomenal as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Fresh and Flavoursome Food! Many favourites such as the grilled lemon pepper calamari, grilled salmon, gourmet beef burger, harissa salmon etc. The junky chips is nice, the normal chips could be salty but staff will customise request such as no salt etc. Food is described as fresh and tasty when take away and during dining in.

The fish, the chips, and the salad were fresh. To be fair, their prices seem alright to me, but the pity is we had came down there in public holiday and paid extra. It's a busy & jammed place.

Food was good and the seafood fresh. We recommend the Apollo Sampler Platter to try a bit of everything. Ordering was easy using the QR Code on the table but we ended up having to purchase the drinks separately. Plenty of seating inside and in the rear beer garden

Food came out surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. Plenty of seating, and more out back. Pricey for fish and chips if you’re from Melbourne but I guess it’s normal for Apollo Bay. Staff were really accomodating, we had a large group of 15 and they weren’t rushing to get us out when we finished eating.

I was in the mood for seafood during lunchtime, so I decided to visit a seafood cafe. Since I only had a 35-minute break (as part of a one-day Great Ocean Road coach tour), I had to be swift. I opted for the Marinara Linguine, which turned out to be delicious. It was generously filled with various seafood, including mussels, oysters, shrimp, and white fish. The mussels, in particular, stood out, offering a flavorful experience unlike the drier and less vibrant mussels I've had in Sweden.

Was in Apollo Bay for a week in off season February and booked a table here for later in the week. We ended up trying it out earlier due to rain and was so unimpressed on a number of counts. . The staff were not focused on their customer service, seeming too stressed, zero smiles and only frowns and no thanks for our order. I ordered battered fish and chips with a side salad and my wife ordered burger and fries. It took a long time to get the food and wasn't overly hot. The burger came without fries and the fish came with bright yellow chips and a tiny bit of lettuce posing as a salad. My wife said not to ask for the fries we ordered, my yellow ones scared her. Needless to say we didn't return for our booking later in the week.

Apollo Bay Seafood Cafe
Seafood platter is good, portion is generous, liked the calamari and fish.The Mariana linguini is cheesy, a bit too much cheese for me personally. Seafood was fresh.
