Found out there was a new Indian Restaurant in Sunbury that was doing all you can eat buffets for less than $20 and my initial thought was that the quality must be really bad at that price. Heard nothing but good things about the place so I decided to give it a go and it was Amazing. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Decent home made style Indian food!The restaurant is open all days for lunch and dinner. Lunch is unlimited buffet for $14.99 served with 2 veg 2 non veg curries, roti and rice. Taste is great.Dinner is À la carte. Portions serves nearly 2. Freshly made.Ambience is nice. Toilets aren’t clean. I think that’s with every Indian restaurant. Outdoor seating available at rear side. Ample parking space. Home delivery at a cost.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here this evening, I felt very welcomed.Each dish had it's own unique combination of flavours to work through and every bite made me excited for the next. The cheese naan is entirely something else, if you get the chance to eat only one thing, it's gotta be the cheese naan. Standouts also include the tender lamb and the very interesting Masala soda.Thanks for having us, we will return!

Visited Melbourne/Sunbury from Darwin(NT) and tried a few restaurants at Sunbury but had an Incredible experience at Ustad G restaurant! Fantastic location and the food was unbelievable- good portion sizes, with such a tasty menu we couldn’t decide what to get so had the chefs special tasting, the food & Naans (Bread) were amazing, The taste of everything was excellent, the staff was very friendly and nice, Highly recommend you give them a try.

The food was tasty-however….Not the best experience…I think these guys won’t survive if they don’t get their act together. Waited 20 minutes to get served when there was only 2 other tables seated at the restaurant, then the food took another 40 minutes, arrived lukewarm. 5 of us at the table but given 4 papadams. They serve food on plastic/melamine plates-like fancy picnic ware. The serves were quite small despite $20 for a main. Ambience is cold (we were freezing) stark, no soft furnishings or warmth about the place. The tables and cutlery had visible streaks. I’m not sure if very clean. It takes a lot more to run a successful restaurant than to just know how to cook for your family guys. Ppl pay good money to go out for dinner these days so you need to do better.

Oh WOW!The flavours here are simply amazing.We've had dinner here a few times now, trying new dishes each time and have had our minds blown with how good everything is.Have tried all the other local Indian restaurants but this is easily the best Indian food in Sunbury, daylight second.

One of the best Indian restaurants in western region/ North western region. I can honestly say Paneer Curry was 1 of the best i ever had.I had few questions about curries and Chef ( Vikram) actually came out of kitchen to have a chat. It was very nice and polite of him.5 star for Food and 5 star for service. I will most definitely be going back, Highly recommended.

We ordered tonight after everyone in town had hyped this place up.The breads were very good.Both the mains we ordered were terribly bland, and the rice wasn't the best either.My partner had ordered online which gave an hour until pickup time. When he went to pickup the food, the order had been forgotten by staff so he had to wait longer.So after all the hype, we found it really disappointing I'm afraid.

Went for dinner on Sunday at 7, when we arrived and ordered for takeaway, we were told to come after 30 minutes. We went in after 40 minutes and yet had to wait another 10 minutes.We ordered Sahi Bhalle( which was good) chicken noodles(wouldn't recommend) , chicken 65 ( also wouldn't recommend it as it was way too soggy and bland). In spite of mentioning to make it spicy as we are Indians and prefer spicy, or was bland.We haven't tried Indian food yet will go back soon to see, but definitely not getting indo-chinese again.Hotel owner/ manager if you are reading this, I'd suggest you up your game as there are really some amazing restaurants in Sunbury if you don't want to go out of business.
