Pros:* Good location. The zoo and shopping centers are within a few minutes of drive* A well equipped kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave, etc), has almost everything needed for simple cooking.* Clean and tidy room.Cons:* A few rooms have windows facing the road, could be a bit noisy at night.* The bathroom sliding door is wobbly and can't be completely closed and locked.

Our family had a great 4 night stay, peaceful, close walk to everything, clean rooms with cooking facilities, clean pool, off street parking, thank you for the great staff, we had a very relaxed stay.

Had a great stay here. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. It had a full sized fridge, not a little bar one you often find in hotels. The staff were very friendly and happy to assit in any way they could. Highly recomend.

Tallarook's location suited us perfectly for our zoo visit. Facilities to make our own breakfast and walk to good quality venues for dinner. Clean quiet perfect

Great sized rooms. We had the pet friendly room and was great with the park right opposite the motel.Lots of food options close by as well.Very good value if you're in Dubbo.

Large clean pet friendly room (need to request in advance). Well equipped kitchen but didn't use. Loads of Takeaway places 5 min walk away. Opposite a park, great for the doggo. Friendly owner, happy to help. Can be noisy with the main road nearby. Would stay again.

We started on the wrong foot as we had expected motels to accept the state accommodation vouchers, but this was not to be. However, we had a small dog and the room provided was perfect for our needs - facing the park and away from most of the other rooms. We were able to get a local Vietnamese meal and heat it up in the room. Shower and bathroom were upgraded (although towel rail had become corroded) and everything in good order. If you are travelling with a dog, I recommend this as a great stopover.

Very lovely room, great price, very friendly and accommodating staff.We had a pet friendly room. 100% rating for this. The room was as good as any room with all amenities. Lovely location, with green park and playground across the road and awesome walking track along the river.Only minor negative is the mattress could be a little better quality, but really only a small point. Still had a good sleep.
