Ocean View Motel

We booked two rooms for guests and wedding party. Room 12 spar and views for bride and groom, room 10 with views for guests. Also had welcome package delivered for the couple. On entry to the rooms we noticed that both rooms are not like the photos on the website totally different decor like from the 70s, also a smell like the rooms had been closed for years. The welcome package was in the wrong room easy enough to know witch room. The pillows sheets and towels in both rooms had a musty smell, no soap, shampoo or hand sanitizer supplies like in most hotels, coffee and sugar very old to taste. The biggest letdown for the newly weds was the spar was not working. Our account was dept more than agreed amount before the booking date and value for money left us a bit wanting. Parking is definitely a problem with 4x4s and SUV taking up more than the space available we parked out front and walked up the drive way. The motel definitely needs an upgrade to bring up to more modern standards.

It was amazing experience for me. When I arrived, I could see very beatiful ocean in front of the motel.I choice a standard room this time so I couldn't get ocean view from my room but I sufficiently stayed comfortable. It was cleaned enough, and sorry I don't know his position, but owner or manager Vel was very kindness.If I can go to North beach again, I absolutely make a booking on the motel again.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great rooms with a very handy kitchenette. The door lock didn't work particularly well. That was my only concern. We just didn't leave valuables behind.

The room was very shabby, there was constant construction noise (with work being done on the motel itself, and then 2 houses away), there was no shampoo or conditioner provided, our towels weren't replaced for 3 days, there was a real lack of privacy by the stairs - accompanied by constant noise (and one night another guest was on my balcony after climbing over my railing - looking at me through the glass door, as I was in bed - saying she'd lost her key), and there was no staff available from early afternoons onwards, the toilet barely flushed, the noise from the shower fan was insane.Maybe it's just Perth prices, I have never paid so much to stay in such a low-quality motel $1,000 for 6 nights (which was apparently a discount). I expected a nice place with great service for this price.I did bring these issues to the attention of the owner and he moved my room on day 3 of my stay. The second room was much better....but still not great.I asked for shampoo and conditioner and was given 2 small hotel bottles that were used and had about 1/4 left in each.The other issues were not resolved.

Not sure what to say about this place. The location is great for North Beach and getting to Scarborough and Hillarys. The beach itself is easily walkable 2 mins and you could be on the sand. The views are nice, and pleasant to wake up to view of sea/sounds. The rooms are nice enough clean, and stocked for a motel they are fine. The price poi t especially for the location is excellent. The parking is a bit tight but available, and check-in was OK. Overall an ok to good stay, especially for location and price. If 3.5 stars an option I'd say that, but is deserving a bit more then 3 star.

The view of the ocean from the motel is breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made Stuart and I feel at home. No matter what request we made they were more than happy to accomodate our needs. The rooms were cute yet spacious enough for me to cook a meal in. We couldn’t have asked for more. We really didn’t want to leave.

Stayed 2 nights. Fairly basic but ok for what we wanted. Near to the beach
