Great food!My partner and I had the Bento Boxes - One Terriyaki Chicken and the other Grilled Salmon.Cooked beautifully with delicious sauce on top. The sides were just as good and seriously appeased my starvation!We are travelling to Brisbane and stopped here - I had barely eaten so this really satisfied me.My kids enjoyed the Calamari and Salmon Cucumber sushi.The staff were very friendly also which made it a good experience.

Been there twice in a week. Each time the food was amazing and tasty. Kids love the roll the most. Very busy during lunch time, a lot take away order. Dinner was fine. But come early if you don’t want to wait.

Only in Coffs for one night, had dinner takeaway and then came back for lunch dine in, because the sushi is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the unagi mania and scallop special roll! Saw one comment that they’d like to kidnap the chef, we felt the same thing - Sydney could really use a good sushi place like this!

Terrific everyone we have been, moderate prices you would expect for fresh made sushi. If you eat at Japanese restaurants often you will feel right at home here. Friendly staff and very quick service, within 10 minutes of ordering and paying we were enjoying our freshly made food.And hungry bears is home to some of the best Takoyaki I've ever had the pleasure of eating.Whether you are a fan of Japanese cuisine or just looking to try something new, you can't go wrong with hungry bears.

Best sushi in town! Fresh delicious sushi rolls made to order! The inside decor is nice. It's a bit small but cosy. We will return!

premium roll and nigiri are quite good, tasty and not expensive.bibimbap is not too spicy, don’t worry about that.my partner is a japanese he loves it as well.

The food is delicious and the people friendly! I also love the style they made the place. Very cute! It’s often busy because of how popular it is but I managed to go today before it was busy which was a plus :) I had the salmon bibimbab and my friend had the Terriyaki chicken bento. Very fresh and yummy! Also got some veggie dumplings to share which were wonderfully crispy! The sauce that came with ours was spicy but not being a spicy food fan I asked to swap which they did so easily and happily which I always appreciate

This sushi was gourmet and very filling (the cheetose sushi was a surprising highlight!). Plus, the service was extremely quick and friendly.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Coffs Harbour or beyond.

Stopped by for lunch... it was so good we had to stay for the dinner service as well! Delicious and well-presented food, generous portions and welcoming hosts in a simple and clean restaurant! A must do on any future trip through Coffs!
