Woodanilling Tavern

I stayed at the tavern with a group of friends over the weekend and we had so much fun. The publican and his family are the ultimate hosts, the meals were excellent, the beers were cold and the service great. The accommodation is very comfortable and suitable for a group booking with separate space upstairs to socialise with your friends. Only a few hours drive from Perth through some great WA countryside. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great weekend getaway spent as part of a group of 14 from the big smoke, treated to some great WA hospitality, with excellent service, food and local WA Wilsons beers on tap. Highly recommended

A small tavern in a very small town. Very friendly service and a decent range of beers on tap. Opening hours are a bit all over the place so you'd do well to phone ahead and check that it's actually open. They also serve food, although I didn't order anything. And they provide accommodation, but I don't know what that's like.

What a wonderful weekend we just had at the Woody. First time for all of us, we booked out two nights and had a ball. The hotel is about 113 years old but clean and well loved. Cosy but not too small. Two fireplaces, TV's for watching the footy, dining room and another small one with a fire, if you're looking for a cosy hotel with great food and cold beer, this is well worth the drive. Rooms comfy and quiet too. Best of all was the hospitality shown to us by Steve the publican and his wife and all their wonderful staff. Young Paige kept us happy pouring from the excellent range of beer types from local brewer Wilson. What a find. We'll be back as soon as we can.

Went and watched the footy in the beer garden and was great! Excellent staff and service provided. Food was great! Nice playground for the kids.
