Very very very bad experience. Absolutely zero professionalism. The instructor was making nasty remarks during the whole lesson, her helper was laughing. Disgusting behaviour from people who should be TEACHING. Not worth the money nor time.

I have been there on Jan 2023 it was very fun I learned how to trot and the horse I was riding sparkles was a little bit cheeky, but I give this riding school five stars I would go there again! They are amazing at teaching as well

Hello I am 11 years old and I used to go her and I am thinking about coming again. I used to ride a white pony a named Pepe he was the best we had a lot of great memories together. The reason I stopped was because I almost got bucked of. Lucky I New what I was doing and managed to stay on everyone was so proud of me for this. I strongly recommend FOXDALE RIDING SCHOOL it is the best. Wendy and Kelly are both amazing.

This is in response to a user named 'jessieperant accie'.What exactly is wrong with the way Wendy runs lessons? Have you seen how many people have learnt to ride well because of Wendy? The 'young' children may not be qualified but have more than enough experience to deliver a lesson the same way Wendy does when she is unavailable for a little while. It's not like she picks some random kid who knows nothing to deliver a lesson, c'mon. And how often does this happen? Rarely ever, most of the time they only start the lesson. No whips are cracked in front of horses faces, and the people who run with the horses is a perfectly fine way of getting them moving, might I add that helping with lessons and other chores is part of the Lease riders agreement, the girls are fit enough to run around for a little bit in a lesson because trust me, if they really didn't want too, they wouldn't.The condition of the establishment? It's a riding school? It doesn't have to be perfect? Im quite sure the horses would rather be on soft sand and grass rather than standing in concrete stalls just so the place looks fancy and appealing? You say the animals are unhealthy and 'no wonder' the RSPCA has been involved a lot, but when have they actually came down and done Wendy for cruelty towards animals? When has the RSPCA ever said the conditions need to be improved? Never. Because it's people like you who hold a grudge that are the ONLY people who think something is wrong. Now, your point about leasing. You say 'child labour' but man don't be so quick to throw that phrase around because that's insane! The lease is there so the riders can basically have their own horse and learn every little detail about what it's like to own a horse and all the work that's involved. And yes going out to get your own horse through a paddock is also part of that experience, if you had a horse on your own property, would you have someone go out and get YOUR horse for you? No because it's your horse! If you want to ride it and look after it, it's your responsibility. And if you can't handle bringing in your own horse then you arent ready to own one. Which is exactly what these lease riders learn. And no, Foxdale definitely doesn't tolerate bullying. There are people who have been told to not come back due to bullying. The horses aren't slaved. They live a happy life at Foxdale Riding School and it is a wonderful environment. Wendy is a lovely lady and an amazing instructor. Your whole comment is invalid. If this person was true to their word, why must they remain anonymous and hide? I say feel free to book a lesson, or a pony ride for your child and come and check the place out for yourself before listening to what other people have to say. No it's not all prettied up and fancy, but it is a true riding school with an incredible atmosphere. :)

Wonderful place with lovely horses and friendly staff. I have been riding on and off my whole life and since my daughter has shown interest in riding we have found foxdale riding school. Wendy is a great teacher as are the are girls who help Wendy with the lessons and run us through our stretches. These girls have been riding their whole lifes and even put me through my paces and we look forward to seeing them all each week. My daughter can be quite and reserved around people she doesn't know but she took to foxdale, the horses and the people like I have never seen her do before. Fantastic place and definitely worth checking out for a lesson.

Foxdale Riding School is highly recommended by many people. It has a lovely vibe there and everyone is so kind. Whoever says that Foxdale is cruel in anyway is so wrong if anything our horses are too fat! I lease a horse there named Merlin, we have improved so much there and I am so happy i found an amazing riding school i really enjoy. This place isnt a posh made of money riding school... It is a riding school you really learn to ride and care for your horses. I never knew how much i loved horse riding until Wendy taught me. Thanks Wendy for making Foxdale such an amazing place :)
