Kroombit Tops Lookout
Long drive, very windy, steep and rocky took about 2 hours to get there. Beautiful scenery and nice picnic area with toilet once at the lookout. About half way there is a nice camping ground you can stay at for free. Definitely worth the drive a nice day out and amazing views.

The drive up from Calliope was decent and the views were great. The road down to Cania was very bad and really slow going. The bomber site was closed too.

Kroombit Tops Lookout
It's a wonderful piece of view. When started the journey and hit the gravel road, map said still more than one hour to go. So driving through more than one hour on gravel road, road blockage by cows, horses and roos, so many ups and downs, and of course no cell network is not easy. However, the lookout presents a wonderful serene beauty with so much wilderness and quietness. Highly recommended if you can stomach some rough driving.

Beautiful drive, make sure you drop your tyres to 26psi or less or you will get punctures.(3 in 1 day at 36psi) If you do the bomber and wall circuit, any 4x4 will make it from a RAV4 up. Razor back does require a large 4wd such as a Ranger, Cruiser, Touareg type vehicle.

Beautiful view. Bit hard to get to. Can get there with a 2 wheel drive on a dry day. But a.4x4 would be much better.

Spectacular view! Well worth the drive, in a 4WD. The track is rocky and somewhat steep at some points. Great drive for anyone who loves nature, wildlife, views and 4X4 driving. Highly recommend. There is an outback toilet. Leave with photos and your rubbish.

Great drive in and out mostly 2 wheel drive except for the back side loop from the plane wreck which is definitely 4wd out.Note walk from carport is approx 2kms not 700ft as stated but well worth it.Allow a day to explore and have lunch at the lookout where there are tables and a toilet.

Well worth the 4wd drive out great elevation and stunning view. Nice place to stop and have a snack or lunch at the tables provided near carpark area.
