The Focus team is amazing! It's a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The instructor, Hamza, is fantastic. He wants the best for his team. Hamza is super knowledgeable and has a unique and effective way of delivering instructions that makes it the perfect place to learn!

Jiu-Jutsu movements does not come naturally to me, it was fustrating showing up to classes at my previous gym and not getting better. Since joining Focus Jiu-Jutsu i have made steady progress as coach Hamza takes the time to tweak small mistakes little by little every class as to not overwhelm me. If the Jiu-Jitsu facility did not have showers, a big open mat and just a real good enviroment to train in where everyone is there to help each other get better, i would still sign up solely because of how passionate and articulate Hamza is with the art of teaching Jiu-Jutsu. No matter what your goals are, whether that may be to get fit, self defence, or competing (Hamza has many accolades under his belt in competitions), you will not regret giving it a go. I love this academy and the team!The environment is very friendly and inviting. There’s plenty of rolling space and plenty of people to roll with.Hamza is a fantastic teacher. He takes his time breaking down techniques in detail and no question is a stupid question. I’ve definitely improved dramatically during my time training here. Can’t recommend it enough.

The environment at Focus is very welcoming, the studio is full of great people and it's never a boring work out. Hamza is a talented coach and competitor who gives time and attention to all of his students and is always approachable and happy to assist us. Six months ago I knew next to nothing about Jiu Jitsu and now it's one of my favourite things to do. It has been a very positive experience and I look forward to each class. Amazing academy. Really good vibe. The coach is very passionate and it resonates onto all of us. I'm only a beginner but am really enjoying it - very helpful supportive environment. Clean gym with good facilities. Highly recommended!
