Delicious restaurant quality food on the deck. We went for lunch and ate seafood chowder and fish of the day. They were so fabulous that we returned for dinner to equally delicious food. Best we have tried in Mooloolaba, and we’ve tried a lot! Highly recommended.

Some time back I caught fresh water crays out of Cooper Creek , Innamincka, last Thursday while on the Sunny Coast I visited this seafood joint and purchased a kilo of fresh ocean prawns and two bugs for $60. I would have been wiser to keep the $60 and head on back to Innamicka . The prawns were tasteless / soft and hard to peel , worst ever and the bugs weren't any better. For anyone wanting fresh seafood try other outlet . My opinion on the good reviews for this shop is that reviewers either own / work or are family members . One star is overrated.

Prawn Love!We purchased fresh prawns and crab for our diner delight from Mooloolah River Fisheries, fresh off the boat. Living inland away from the coast we don't eat fish often. This was amazing everything i wanted and more. With my belly full and my hunger tammed i can rest knowing holidays do pay off. I would recommend for every fish lover, large choice of fish and great service to match.

Ordered fried Snapper and chips - what I got was a half piece of snapper so overcooked that it was akin to eating chicken. Horrible. And the serving of chips was also half size and also overcooked - couldn’t eat it.As I was waiting in line to pickup my order I overheard another customer who was complaining about the exact same thing as he and his wife were demanding a refund. I won’t be back - poor quality, poor quantity.

We paid $65 for fish and chips, potato scallops, calamari and prawn cutlets. We got crumbed reef fish and it was so disgusting - it actually smelled rotten! I had taken a bite and nearly vomited it was so terrible.Staff were unapologetic when my husband returned the pieces of fish to let them know. Their response was that the fish was fresh! Chips were OK. Prawn cutlets were big but $4.50 each and also didn’t seem fresh as they weren’t very tasty. Potato scallop $3.10 each - they were quite nice. We will not be returning….

Fish was perfect, chips OK. Ordered Battered Hoki and Chips and Popcorn Fish and chips for son. Cost $18.90 all up. No pictures as we were too hungry to take any.
