Really beautiful gardens, the Campaspie River walk is especially nice. I timed it right with all that autumn colour. The river is pretty clean and the walk is really nice. It's a long way round to Piper Street. I wish I followed it around to the old hospital though. The gardens has a selection of deciduous and every green trees. I'm sure in the summer, it's equally as beautiful.Kyneton is a surprisingly beautiful little town. I wish I could move somewhere like that.

Very well maintained garden, smaller than expected but expansive grassed area for picnic & large playground next to the garden.

A well established garden with many matured elm trees and other European deciduous trees giving beautiful autumn colours. A walk long the adjacent Campaspe River banks has a weir. The historic blue stone bridge over the river provides a scenic backdrop.

Autumn is a beautiful time to visit our beautiful country towns and their parks and gardens. The autumn colours are beautiful as the pictures show. The Kyneton Botanic garden is beautifully well maintained and kept in excellent condition. I highly recommend a visit as it is a calming and relaxing walk with nature.

Absolutely lovely gardens with some seriously incredible children's playground equipment and facilities. There's a public ping pong (table tennis) table, undercover BBQs, sandpits and many more. This is all topped by a fantastic walking track that follows the river.

On a crisp autumn day I strolled through these gardens and found the atmosphere lovely. The gardens are quiet and cool, although there's the background noise of children playing. I walk all the way down to the creek, passing families having a picnic, couples reading, and other people, like me, just wandering aimlessly. I really didn't look at all the species of plants but I doubt it's world shattering. Just seemed a nice place.
