Stanwell Park Beach

If you hate crowds of people as much as me then you’d know the best time to really enjoy some places is during winter on a day that maybe promising rain...you’ll pretty much have a whole place to yourself. This is one of those places!Busy on summers weekends due to its closeness to sydney, it also on one of the best costal drives south so people stop off to look. It provides benches, picnic areas, BBQ’s and cafes....but during winter it’s equally beautiful, empty and quietDuring winter there seems to be two sides to the beach split by a flow of water from the catchment behind the brash. Area to the north is where dogs are free to walk and run off their lead and the other to the south (depending on the season) where dogs are allowed on lead and/or not allowed at allIt’s close enough to Sydney that you don’t have to drive too far. Our dog loved it...cue lots of photos of said dog

Love this place! It's soo pretty.. they also have food options here.. Stanwell Park train station is not too far from here.. if you are driving, parking is convenient.. they have toilets with shower in case you need them..

Went on weekday when it was drizzling, almost empty roads and beautiful empty beach. It was very peaceful.The drive all the way to the beach with picturesque scenic snake shaped roads are very attractive.Piece of advice: Please don’t lose the focus on the road. Let your partner click the pictures while you focus on driving and safety of everyone.

Superb little spot for swimming and sunshine

This is one of our favourite beaches. The shallow water on one side of beach makes it feel like it's at eye level, calm for Kayaking and surrounding by hills, it's like a postcard, very scenic.Beach has got toilets and open showers and a beach facing cafe.

Its a nice place for family outing. Beautiful views. Play place is available for kids and shades for picnic lunches. Parking is adequate with public toilets available with showers after a good swim.We had an opportunity to see sharks upfront at the seashore during November 2020. The road that leads to this park is just amazing going down the hill.

Good stretch of sand and although busy, still plenty of space to lay out a towel. The ocean beach filters into a small lagoon as well, good for swimming if the seas is a bit rough. Parking can be tricky on the weekends and during school holidays.

The people that take their dogs onto the beach should have them on a lead it's not my fault I am fishing and your dog helps it self to my fishing bait n gets a hook in its lip dog owners need to be responsible

These are many beaches and cliffs along grand pacific highway drive.Stanwell is one of them.you can see deep blue sea and a view of a cliff from this beach. Parking and washroom facility is available.I went on a weekday.It is a very neat beach.No much crowd. Peaceful and neat beach.

Excellent beach experience. Neat and clean with plenty of space. Can enjoy the waves. Plenty of parking space as well. There is change room for men and women. The adjacent park has provision for barbecue and play. At times there are gliding events as well.
