On New year's day no coffee shop opened. I saw this coffee shop was open l went there thank God someone was open. The coffee was good quality. I been there today. I'm going tomorrow morning for a coffee again. There are one place charge surcharge on coffee fair enough but not every hoildays gets to much even charge everything on food of 10%.

It is a classic. They make their own pies and sausage rolls, which i really liked. Very trendy and quite authentic on what they do. Lovely atmosphere and the smile is $0. Great hot beverages!

Ordered the coffee and ham/cheese and added tomato deal. Coffee ok. Ordered the peppercorn pie, disappointing. No actual steak pieces. Bland. May have been baking since 1947, doesn’t me the owners have any idea about the taste of a genuine Steak and Peppercorn Pie. Perhaps you could drive to Kyneton Bakery and try a real one for yourself. Kyneton bakery are multi award winners.Michelle and her son were very defensive and rude when I told them in my opinion the pie was tasteless and the crossaint with Jake cheese and tomato ends wasn’t toasted properly even the cheese was still cold.Sad. I’m sure once it was a great bakery before Michelle and her 9 year old took overI may not be a local. I do how ever have lots of friends that live locally.

Routleys pies are probably have the best pie pastry I've ever eaten. It doesn't get soggy and stays flaky and firm even hours later and cold. The plain pie is really great, with tasty gravy that leaves u licking ur fingers - and for me with pies, that doesn't happen often, I'm really not a big pie eater, because the pastry and filling have to tick the right boxes for me, and Routleys' pies definitely do.

We had a delicious big breakfast each and coffee. Even the local constables come in for lunch and coffee whilst we were having brunch. A great friendly place to eat and chat.

$30 for these two sandwiches. Slice bread that is not toasted. The fillings of chicken and Avo were average too.
