Terrible experience renting through this agency. Any maintenance requests were ignored and had to be followed up several times. When dealt with they would be fixed very poorly allowing the issue to reoccur. Kathy was very hard to contact whether via email or phone. The manner she dealt with any issues in the house was very unprofessional with no accountability for the poor communication. Would not recommend to go through

Worst real estate agency I’ve ever dealt with. PLEASE do NOT rent through active realty NT. No communication, dodged my phone calls and texts. Unprofessional, illiterate and even rude emails. Very money hungry and bad service. Tried to blame tenants for errors made by themselves and a nightmare trying to get our bond back. Should not be in business.

Do not go near this company. I have heard far too many nightmare stories. They will do anything in their power to withhold your bond for any ridiculous reason that's out of your control. Don't trust them.

Having never owned an investment property before we were recommended Kathy through a friend who only had good things to say about their experience with her. The agents we bought the property from were pressuring us to use them for the leasing as well, however their fees and rental estimates were way off what I thought the market was at. Kathy was able to source a tenant on a long term contract and at market rates within 1 week of settlement. The other agent called me to tell me that never happens" and that I was very lucky. Well I guess the only luck was that I engaged the services of Kathy. She is responsive

This real estate agency is the least professional company myself and anyone I know have had to deal with. There name is anything but accurate as they did none of the professional requirements. No official incoming inspection, no house inspections whilst we were there but then had the audacity to blame us for problems that already existed. It went as far as them telling us we needed to pay for a locksmith to replace door handle that was already installed backwards when we moved in.If you don't want to get ripped off, I highly recommend going with any company but Active Realty.

Kathy is an amazing property manager. I had the pleasure of renting an apartment from her from October 2020 to May 2021. She always responded to my enquires quickly and efficiently. She is great to talk to and handled all issues that arose during the lease fairly and with compassion. A five-star service!
