Anvil Rock Lookout
Fantastic view. Just off the main track to the left of anvil rock is a large rock. It is easy to climb up and I sat up there with my wife for a completely undisturbed your taking in the truly fantastic view.

Anvil Rock Lookout
With the 5km or so of unsealed road with lots of pot holes. Extensive views over Gross valley to the north towards Mount Wilson and towards the east. 5 min walk from carpark. Good railings which are needed. Also check out Wind Eroded Cave on the other side of car park. No facilities.

It was a foggy day so we could not enjoy the beautiful view. We enjoyed the cloud 9 experience while dancing with the cloud instead

Our top pick for lookouts in the Blue Mountains! 5km unsealed road to get here, which wasn’t too bad going slow in our 2WD vehicle. Easy walk, a couple of mins from the car park. Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

Anvil Rock Lookout
Off the beaten track on a very bumpy dirt road, but worth the drive. Not many tourists visit here so I was the only one. It's a hidden gem for sure. Worth taking a look if you have the time. Views are stunning!

Anvil Rock Lookout
I was going to see the Wind Eroded Caves Lookout and also took in this lookout too. A short dirt road to get to the car park. It says on the sign it’s a 5 minute walk to get to Anvil Rock Lookout. It is a bit quicker than that but it was longer for me on the way back as there were so many viewing opportunities along the track out. Well worth visiting and it has amazing views.

Anvil Rock Lookout
It’s tempting just to skip this little turn-off and keep going to Perry’s look down - but it’s only 500m and this lookout is more spectacular imho. And the walk from the carpark really is only 2 mins, so don’t let that stop you lazies.

Wonderful 360 degree views of the paradise that is the Blue Mountains National Park - great to see the terrific bush regeneration after the horrific fires of not so long ago!

Anvil Rock Lookout
A brilliant spot no matter when you see it. A clear day offers views up and down the Grose, a misty morning sets a whole different mood for the area.
