This is the coolest place on Oxford st if not in Sydney. I was able to get a small but beautiful collection of LGBT books and the man working was just a delight. Such a beautiful shop

It's been around for decades and this gay bookshop is still thriving thanks to a loyal clientele, smart buying and ultra nice staff. Theses such a nice feeling to browse through a book shop that's crammed to the rafters I'm this day and age. They do the occasional book launch too.

The Bookshop is a nice size for browsing books, videos & other reading material, that caters mainly for LGBTI. No X material.The staff are very friendly & helpful.Also do mail service if ordering online.They also have special events like meet the author nights.

I walked in the other day and was pleasantly surprised on how friendly and willing to help the staff was. I had no idea what I was looking for, but by just asking a few questions, he was able to point me in the right direction and find the gift I was looking for.

Easily the largest offer of queer books in Sydney, if not Australia. 40 years+ operating this gem of Oxford street. Pleasant service, up for a chat and equally kind to let you browse as long as you need. Can’t recommend this shop enough.

Really lovely bookstore - I was looking for books on queer history in Sydney and the staff had great knowledge and recommendations.There was such a variety of LGBTQIA+ books and others too.A must visit when in the area.

This bookshop is one of the best parts of living in (or visiting) Sydney. Whether you go there for something in particular or just to browse, the team there are friendly and helpful.I especially treasure the extensive collection of Queer history books and niche titles.I hope this shop is around for many future generations to enjoy!

I visit the Darlinghurst Bookshop at least once a month. It’s a charming local bookshop that just happens to have the largest selection of LGBTQI books in Sydney. The staff are friendly and have recommended some great books to me over the years. They also have great book signing events and special deals. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend visiting.
