I live in an apartment complex and we needed 2 jobs done so asked RTFT to quote. They were quick to turn up and quote the jobs - we accepted both quotes and paid in full prior 24 June 2021 with dates for the work to be arranged.It has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster with one excuse after another regards why they couldn't come to do the jobs - They were impossible to contact and did not respond to emails, phone calls or Facebook messages. There were various excuses made when contact was briefly re-established - barely believable but we were prepared to cut them some slack as they were local.As time went on and they proved non-responsive, we lost faith and confidence in them.One job was a simple, small plastering job which took months and months to complete with my having to chase them up continually and then, when they did do that job, I had to get them to come back and finish it properly. I now know that we were overcharged for that job based on another plasterer taking a look and estimating what the cost should be.The major job was eventually cancelled after discussions where I voiced my dissatisfaction with the endless roadblocks/excuses which kept cropping up preventing them from doing the work we had paid in full for and the MD offered a refund.3 months on and we are now having the devil's own job to get our money back and so are now reporting them to the Office of Fair Trading, QCAT and QBCC.I do not recommend this company in any way, for any job.
