Moses and his team genuinely care for cars and people.He's really good at explaining what the problem is and what to look out for. We had a major transmission issue, and he gave us great recommendations to get it fixed at a specialist.Afterwards the car service was really easy, quote up front, no surprises.If only we found him earlier!Thank you!

Moses helped me out when no one else would at short notice. I had previously went to Mycar to get an inspection and they said it would get a defect if I didn't pay them $880 for a fix. I said no and took it to Motormotive. After asking around if someone else would do the inspection Moses told me to come round the same day. He fixed the issue and charged a much better price. He was nothing but professional and honest. I would recommend Motormotive to anyone and will do so to anyone who wants a trustworthy and professional mechanic who also doesn't take advantage and charge the maximum price. Thanks Moses

This is a long overdue review… they are rip off artist or what. I brought my car to do the safety check in 2019 ( first time in Australia) and they easily charged me above $2000 including many irrelevant stuff. Finally negotiate to $1400 and even though promised they did not send me the bill.

Moses and Kim are incredibly reliable, quick, friendly and always giving me the best service. They’ve been my mechanics for the last four years and it’s been the easiest experience - if you’re in the inner west - they’ll take care of you

Whether you live in the area or in Sydney in general, you need to make Motormotive your mechanic of choice. Honesty, transparency, forward thinking, friendly, and open are words used rarely when talking about mechanics. I can say without a doubt, Moses and his crew embody all of those traits. Whether you’re looking for a pink slip, or a full makeover on your loved prized possession Moses provides advice, quality service, industry knowledge and is very fair on price and timelines. Personally, I couldn’t recommend a professional anymore. Take my advice, and see Moses for anything bike, car or truck related - you won’t be disappointed at all.

I am absolutely disappointed with this car workshop! I brought a Holden Commodore 2006 that I was interested in buying to this workshop to carry out an Inspektion. The staff told me friendly that the engine and axle would leak and that in the worst case scenario it would cost $ 800. The staff looked very trustworthy on me, so I bought the car and I could buy the car for $ 800 less from the owner. When I brought the car back to the workshop and to fix the licking, came a cost estimate of $ 2200. I absolutely could not understand why It was first a maximum price of $ 800 and now I should pay $ 2200. The staff persuaded me. so I repaired my car after a long negotiation for 1450$ there.Now I had to take my car to another workshop in Cairns because I travel around Australia and my rego expires. The workshop in Cairns showed me that my engine and axle would still be leaking and that a mechanic has been working inappropriately on the leak problem. For me it looks like I paid $ 1450 Motormotive Pty Ltd for nothing! Thanks Motormotive Pty Ltd! Please do not trust the people of Motormotive Pty Ltd even if they seem so trustworthy.

These guys are dirty and you’re best to be wary about getting repairs done here.My experience: took my car to get an alternator and a major service as a new customer being new to the area. Moses comes across respectful and fixes the car promptly. Before fixing the car he suggests that the shocks need to be replaced - something if I didn’t query he would have replaced and I’m another 1K down for no reason. I question the shocks because I had them changed within 2 years of this and if they are bad then I’ll take it back to the old garage and speak to them about why. Moses assured me, and so did his mechanic mind you, that the shocks are leaking profusely. I take the car back to my old mechanic and he suggested if they’re damaged then they’re under warranty and he’ll change them free of charge. He gets back to me with the response of they’re not leaking and shows me the shocks with no evidence of leaking what so ever, the dust around the shocks was evidence nothing had been wiped down to fake it.No one should have to double check if what their mechanic is saying is true or not, especially at the prices we pay these days. Moses knows this review is coming and he knows what he did was dirty and I’d hate to think how many customers he’s taken money from for not reason over the years.

Cannot recommend this business highly enough! I went on a trip to Sydney when I had an emergency and managed to bring my car in to Motormotive. They fit me in with no warning, and were friendly, transparent, reassuring, more than fairly priced and so incredibly helpful! Managed to fix my problems and send me on my way within a couple of hours. Genuinely so thankful to them.

Moses and his team are so amazing, professional, friendly and reliable.They always take my car last minute for a pink slip just before a public holiday and resolve any issues so quickly. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend Moses and his team and wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

I rarely review anything but the reviews for Motormotive are definitely justified. Did a pre inspection on a car I wanted to buy and saved me buying a lemon.
