The Entrance Police Station

Great bunch of girls and boys doing a bloody hard job, and looking at some of the comments in this section, very poorly appreciated by some.

about 8 months ago i went into the station for an incident report, they were to busy and said they would contact me with details. still waiting. the standard response when the public calls is that 24 hours a day 7 days a week, all our officers are attending domestic desputes. i call wyong police if i need help, they turn up.

Absolutely pathetic service, officer tried to pass the buck by asking to call their contact centre and report the problem, instead of taking responsibility for his job...poorest experience. Police in 3rs world countries are better than ours

Today I called up about a driver and when they answered the man was lovely on the phone and did some thing about it straight awayThank you so much

Overall The Entrance Police response is always respectful when dealing with DV & other serious issues. In our community we are fortunate to have personable help.

I have nothing but praise for the officers at The Entrance Police Station. We have had a number of incidents in our street involving ICE addicted, violent neighbours who continually threaten us and all of the other law abiding neighbours. The Entrance Police come quickly when they are being violent, and have followed a number of charges against these people up, also resulting them being evicted from their public housing homes. Our street is now quiet, thanks to the Police! For those of you rubbishing them, I can tell you they are grossly understaffed at the station. One night I had to go in to give a statement to the police and there was one Police Officer there. He had to talk with people turning up to the counter, answer the phone (that rang non stop), listen to the Police radio and take my statement at the same time. I'm not sure how the government expects them to do their job leaving them that short staffed! So I just want to say thank you, I and my family, really appreciate all that you have done for our street.

It's a sad day when the police wont take a report when all your belongings are stolen. Unfortunately they are usually power trippers and believe they are above the law. S/C Jo at the entrance obviously hates her job very much.. I feel bad for her.... she tried to pass it on to the Gosford police department to take care of and the police in Gosford were frustrated she was too lazy to do it herself.
