Dr Peter, is a passionate psychiatrist who has been very patient with me despite the struggle with my ADHD (and he has transferred my care to a GP and am on the medication that ultimately does have results!I do recommend & like the rest of us we are all human and no one is perfect so have some empathy for your practitioner and not everyone is on top of their game each day!

We have been patients at First Light for a long time and can't fault the medical expertise, care and service we have received over the years. Both GP and Allied Health Services are always outstanding. I would recommend this practice to any of my friends and relatives.

I have been passed around from doctor to doctor, having to re-explain my history and repeat myself over and over and receive very impersonal, inconsistent, low quality care. Not sure if the high turnover rate of doctors is a sign? I really miss how this place used to be.Furthermore, I agree with the comment below where the process to facilitate appointments for mental health was very unpleasant. There was zero interest in trying to understand my position or trying to work with me towards a solution.I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

The Doctors and Physiotherapists at First Light Healthcare are a professional and friendly team. The reception staff are kind and caring too!

First Light, Dr. Giselle, and Nurse Penny were all AMAZING. I went here to have my birth control implant removed and replaced, and it couldn't have gone better. Everything was quick and easy, and the staff were so friendly. It was incredibly cheap for all the services compared to what I've experienced in the States, and I felt safe and comfortable and was given excellent care.Thank you so much to everyone at First Light who made this a lovely experience!

DREADFUL! I have a referral to see a psychiatrist. I rang up and spoke to a horrible lady called Liz. She was so rude, aggressive and hostile towards me. I am calling to see a psychiatrist for a mental health disorder so I am obviously in a fragile and vulnerable state and after being spoken down to by Liz I got off the phone in tears and have now relapsed! Liz should NOT be working in this line of work dealing with people who are trying to book in with a psychiatrist! I am now second guessing the integrity of this whole centre if they have someone this horrible answering the phone to fragile people who are simply calling up to get help with their mental health! In the space of a 1 minute phone call with her she has reduced me to tears and has caused me to relapse!! Liz needs to be fired immediately! Please don’t let her do this to any more vulnerable people who are seeking help for their mental health! Absolutely appalling!I still need to see the psychiatrist. I have sent through the referral but it seems very difficult to actually get an appointment booked?

First Light Healthcare in Byron is my practice of choice. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. It can be daunting as a teen to go to the doctor however Dr Gisselle Hull puts me at ease with any issues I need to discuss. The male doctors are also very approachable. I highly recommend First Light. It's also easy to get to as it's in the heart of town and I can go straight from the school bus.
