I love the vibe of this place! The decor is chic, the drinks are unique, and the bartenders know how to make a great cocktail. If you’re looking for a classy place to have drinks with friends, this is the place to visit. A must see hidden gem in the heart of Neutral Bay!

I really wanted to like this bar but during our visit yesterday we were left disappointed.Music was too loud, it drove people to sit outside on the street benches.Staff weren't friendly - I felt like an annoyance for ordering a cocktail rather than just beer. They didn't have the whiskey needed to make two of the cocktails I wanted - at the beginning of the evening this is poor, just make sure you monitor stock levels. Or use a different whisky?The two cocktails we had were terribly out of balance and not enjoyable. We paid $19 yesterday as it was a March offer, which was far too much. But they normally cost $25.They've also reduced down the number of original cocktails and increased their prices compared to their online menu.Won't be returning

Decent style bar. $50 for two margaritas is just insane. Unfortunately will not he back due to over priced cocktails with minimum grade ingredients. Bartender was nice though….

I visited this little gem yesterday and was so happy I found it.The ambience is amazing; the staff were very friendly and made the best cocktails.I’m bringing my friends next time. Can't wait!

Slow service on a quiet night. $25 for a diluted spritz, couldn’t finish it. Was so average.UPDATE: Manager very generously offered a recomp. Shows commitment to rectify customer issues.

What a fun place to enjoy a cocktail! Thank you for having us at Hideout Bar, our cocktails were delicious and the service was fantastic. The fit out was so fun & vibrant and the atmosphere was buzzing! The perfect spot for an afternoon marj! Loved every minute of my time here and can’t wait to bring my friends and family back! Nice chill bar, when I went we were greeted by the sounds of love music upstairs as we made our way downstairs for some chill drinks. Definitely the definition of a small bar. Bar tender knew his stuff and there was a wide range of drinks available despite the size

Hide out bar should remain hidden. Waiting 40mins for a few long Island ice teas that are over priced and mixed up from an A4 notebook kept handy at the bar.. and that's only one example of the orders we made. You simply can't ask people to pay the price premium when the staff are not adequately trained to make it. The poor attitude towards feedback also is evident in some of the responses seen here on the review chain... take on feedback. You have a good location and potential to train your people right to deliver better service. It is irrelevant to have premium products and talk about curation when you have spent little time and care taking your staff on the journey of how to treat those ingredients and customers with respect.
