Brisbane Head Office - Simonds Homes

I would NOT recommend Simonds Homes!This was our third home build and it has been by far the worst experience.We went through two site managers as one quit and the other was arrogant, impatient and non-responsive. You then try and get answers from head office and the default response is I can't answer that you need to send an email. If you send an email it will take them over two weeks to respond and even upon response it is bare basics and not helpful at all. This was throughout our home build.Now after handover and we need them to fix their mistakes/ faults or even maintenance and it's even worse then when building with them. They completely disown you and move on to the next customer. It is next to impossible to get anything out of them. They don't respond to phone calls, messages or emails.

We have contacted this company for building on a block of land and dealt with a guy by the name of Jerold. He wasted 4 weeks of our time and charging us $ 1000 dollars , in order , to get some soil reports. He is not very responsive, we have kept calling and emailing in order to get the results.Other receptionists at the head office are not friendly to deal with, unprofessional and lack work ethics.I strongly, urge those who want to deal with them, if the beginning of a business is such a failure what will you get at the end. Try some other builders with better reputations.

TERRIBLE ! ! !We just got handover and we have hired a painter to repaint our brand new house . Simmonds didn’t want to know about it . The quality was disgusting. I wouldnt let whoever they hired to paint my dog house .Would not recommend what so ever.It’s a shame because the girls at loganholme were fantastic to work with .No morals no ethics and no code of conduct . Beware! when dealing with this company. Very arrogant, restrictive, and unfair trading. Would not allow other brand and makes of product into the home, other than what they nominate. Heartless unreasonable domineering attitude causes that Customer Missing out for the rest of the Life of the home for products to be installed, which is aiding health and convenience. Need to be installed during construction.

If there is 0 or zero rate I will . This company are absolutely a joke and absolutely do not used simonds home , I repeat ! do not do it because a soon you signed the contract they will take they time and I signed contract since 27/5 /2021 until today they haven’t start to build and the communication with the coordinator is bad and I have to asked her to be removed but she still sending me payslip. , she send me E mail saying I was on holiday and i was sick how is that my problem ? or can Simonds can not get someone to replace her to do my hosue paperwork. End up saying we will give you $500 off and they breached my contract. The same time . I end up talking to the manager and she still not movement. Now I have a lawyer and I have pay someone to check the hosue after they done. Anything goes wrong or getting me a stuff from bunnies they will need to replace it with what I asked. Once again do it used them absolutely not . My friend recommended because they doing this because I’m black .

My friends referred me and I took their advice because of the outstanding experience they had. I am in the early stages of my journey with Simonds and pleasingly its following along the same exciting pathway my friends had. Can't wait for the next stage!

Don't use them. They got so much wrong on our build, and I have .order still falling out of my brick work and cracks everywhere on my pebblecrete driveway. It too 6 months to get my quote correct, that should have been my end flag. They will also use standards against you that aren't explained at time of contract. Don't trust them! I hated the build with Simmonds, it was the worst experience ever!

This Simonds Home has sat like this for the last Three YEARS ( it sad to say this it is now THREE YEARS not Two years). I have spoken with council and they have let me know the the home was place in the wrong location and it needs to be moved. I asked them why council approved the plans, to which they told me that Simonds use their own private building certifier and it is their responsible to knock down & rebuild the house. Do not build (never build with Simonds homes as your house will never get finished) with Simonds, as you could be left paying for a uncompleted house like this.

For all new Simonds customers and for those considering building a home through Simonds, do not be deceived by their display homes and quality of workmanship promised – you may be disappointed and left in a disadvantaged position.I quote Simonds “we are more than happy with the finish to your home.
