Excellent doctor. Caring and considerate

Wonderful Doctors, kind and caring and couldn’t fault them at all.It’s a shame that the waiting time can’t be addressed.Sometimes you have to wait for up to an hour, which is very difficult for anyone, especially with children.Maybe when you arrive you could be advised by reception that they are running behind but they don’t seem to appear concerned about that.Also perhaps masks could be available for anyone who doesn’t know about this rule.I have seen patients feel embarrassed when they are told they can go next door to purchase a mask. Perhaps when you call to make an appointment they could advise you of the mask rule.Apart from these things the waiting time is my biggest concern.I chose this practice when I moved to Thirlmere because of the recommendation of how good the Doctors were, and they are, but how long can you wait in a soulless waiting room,feeling like you are suffocating in the mandatory mask.Hopefully they can address the waiting time issues….please.

i haven’t visited a doctor that made my feel as though they actually cared what i was addressing in years! Dr Rakshith, listened to my concerns and communicated what was going on, addressed any and every source of issue and explained evrything to me. I couldn’t recommend him more!

Absolute joke of a medical practice. Wait over an hour for every single appointment I have with kids… Not ideal. For some reason my appointment miraculously disappears off the system so people coming in after me go in before me and then suddenly reappears an hour later after my kids are screaming in the waiting room. The receptionist with orange hair is extremely rude. Got up me for not having a face mask, who even carries them on hand anymore when you don’t have to wear them anywhere and especially when it’s not relayed over the phone upon booking an appointment. How am I supposed to know if I’m not told. She said well you can buy one for $1. I said I don’t have any coins on me, I would just sit outside and she raised her voice at me telling me no you need one to see the doctor! I said are you for real? Got scoffed at by her saying you can just buy some next door with card at the chemist but I couldn’t buy one because I forgot my purse, easy to do when your head is all over the place after having your partners life be taken away. Another lady went to the reception to buy me one because she was making the situation so difficult and she rudely said no don’t worry about it just have a staff one. Then proceeded to bicker about me with her co worker behind the desk which I heard every word. I now know why the appointment disappeared, the receptionist was clearly playing games trying to make my life difficult and wait long because I didn’t have a mask and it was such a big deal for her. Won’t be coming back here, only came here because I got told it was good. Don’t know what’s good about the long wait times and rude receptionist.

Thirlmere medical practice has been our family doctor for a very long time and it's been a great experience with the doctors i wish I could say the same for one of their receptionists. Jody you can't fault - sweet lovely and very polite but one in particular is an absolute disgrace. My 72 year old dad went in today and asked her to give his prescription to his doctor (something he does very often and NEVER had an issue) words were exchanged about how this isnt allowed he continued to say its something he does very regularly and for whatever reason she stood and RIPPED HIS PRESCRIPTION UP and said harassment and bullying isnt tolerated. WHAT?We have been going to this medical clinic for well over 4 years and they all know my dad and his personality and he doesn't harass or bully people!I am beyond upset at how my elderly father was treated today and we will happily find a new medical clinic that doesn't have such a rude receptionist that goes around ripping scripts up!

Professional and most caring doctors and very nice receptionists.
