We had Douglas Insulation come and install our underfloor insulation and were so glad we chose them. From the moment we made initial contact to the time they finished the job, these guys were friendly and reliable the whole way through.Our floorboards are no longer freezing and the house instantly lost its chill. It retains heat so much better than before. Would highly recommend these guys if you are considering underfloor insulation.Thanks for a job well done!

Douglas Insulation did a great job working in tight quarters underneath our house to install underfloor insulation. Not a desirable job at all, they were unable to gain access to just 2 areas of the floor where there simply wasn't enough room for a person to fit. Very happy with the job achieved.

Douglas and his team were excellent. They installed our underfloor insulation expertly and quickly. They reached very difficult areas that other installers wouldn’t even consider to access while working very gently around our duct system. And they did it all for a very competitive price. The result: Our house now needs considerable less heating to keep warm. I’d highly recommend Douglas Insulation to anyone.

I can highly recommend Douglas Insulation. I received a prompt competitive quote for underfloor insulation. An installation date was scheduled soon after I paid a deposit. The friendly and courteous workmen arrived on time and worked on-site until the job was completed. I am very satisfied with the result.

I had a bad experience with this company.1) They attempted to charge me for work they did not do. Although I made them aware prior to the installation that areas in the kitchen and dining area were already done they still charged me for these initially. I had to fight tooth and nail (multiple emails) to get them to adjust their invoice – which they did in the end.2) Their subcontractor for the vacuuming of the loft threw rubbish onto my front lawn and did not collect it till I told them to. Still to date no one has apologised about this, which is rude and disrespectful.3) The vacuuming of the loft was done badly there was still a lot of rat droppings and debris in the loft and it looks like one whole part of the roof line had been forgotten. I told Douglas insulation about this on the day the vacuuming was done. I had to clean a lot of the loft myself and arrange for someone to help me. They initially said that I must be mistaken. They then promised that they would clean up before the insulation went down. However, on the day, their workers knew nothing about it. They did not even bring any tools to clean up and had to call the boss as they had no idea. I had suspected this so had engaged a workman prior to help clean up and on the day we had to borrow a vacuum from the painter to finish the clean up. I requested Douglas insulation to reduce their bill jus for the cleaning portion but they refused and were unhelpful.I do not recommend this company.**Reply to owner **Hi Cam, I too run a small business and certainly would treat a customer who just paid me over $4.9k a little differently.I am responding under my real name so if I am being dishonest take it up with google and get the review removed… I have all the photos and documents to stand by what I am saying and because you are accusing me of being dishonest and being very rude and sarcastic I am attaching some of them here.Just to set the record straight:- On the 29/01/2020 I asked you not to charge me for work that was already done to which you replied… “That won’t be happening… get it paid…”- On the 2/02/2020 you tried to bully and threaten me with court action, calling me ridiculous for requesting not to be charged for work that you did not do!- On the 3/02/2020 you finally agreed to adjust to you invoice for work you did not do. …. I call this behaviour fighting tooth and Nail… I call this bullying… I call this terrible service which ever way you look at it Cam I had to fight just not to get charged for work you did not do! And believe it or not you have admitted it in your response calling it forgotten… who is being dishonest Cam...- On the 16/11/2020 I sent you photos of the area that was apparently cleaned (I have attached these here). You said “ looks absolutely perfect”…. If the attached photos are perfect then there is something wrong…. It is clear from the photos that this is not fossilised and stuck to the plaster – you are being intentionally misleading in your response.- You then asked me to provide a supplier invoice which for the extra cleaning work and accused me again of being dishonest “So clearly there is no invoice and no extra contractor. Even if there was, that’s your own responsibility”. But when I sent you the invoice you refused to pay it.- Thank you for admitting that the coke can was dropped on my lawn but it was not dropped it was thrown and not picked up till I asked them to do so.

We had Douglas Insulation install new roof insulation. They were very easy to deal with and very friendly and accommodating. The installation team arrived on time and did a good job and we’re very efficient. We are very happy to have dealt with Douglas Insulation

Extremely happy with service and honesty from Douglas Insulation. Cam advised on what and why needed for my dwelling. Pricing brilliant compared to many other companies for quality provided. Service brilliant - so accomodating to preferred day for insulation. Two gentleman who installed were fabulous- friendly and professional. Douglas Insulation are a very professional company. The two guys arrived at the allotted time and completed the work on our under floor insulation quickly and with no fuss. Very competitively priced. Highly recommend Douglas Insulation! Great communication. It was a pleasure doing business with them. The guys were able to crawl and install the insulation under our existing floorboards. There has been a very noticeable temperature difference in floor temperature. Great job team!

We had them install underfloor insulation on our house. The quote process was quick and helpful to explain how it all works. We booked the work in for a few weeks later.The installation crew were professional and fast - they did the whole underfloor in less than a day, cleaned up everything so no mess afterwards.Very happy to recommend Douglas installation!
