For those who are interested to deal with this agency, please read:I am very disappointed with the service provided by Garry Nash, causing a great deal of distress, anxiety, and frustration.- Thursday 20th of April at 2 pm - Property Inspected: I asked whether the house will have blinds and fencing before moving in, to which I was advised yes. Landscaping was advised to be done at a later time.- Friday 5th of May - I emailed the agency confirming the above, to which I was advised the above won't be delivered.- Friday, 5th of May, at 4:30 pm - Met with Skye Couch and Erin McGuire. Alternatives were suggested that the landlord would provide temporary fencing and blind, including 1 week of free rent, and since the landscaping is not done, the gardening charge will be removed from the weekly rent till landscaping is complete.- Monday 8th at 9 am: Call received from agency advising the temporary blind and fencing won't be put up, and I better cancel the tenancy. While the tenancy was supposed to commence from the 10th of May. So 2 days prior to moving in.- Monday 8th 10 am: Email received from the agency advising the landlord would not provide any compensation and rent reduction but now provides temporary blinds and fence.The above events made me and my partner come to a conclusion not to move into this property and deal with this agency/this landlord due to lack of professionalism, breaking the trust.It is hard to trust this team and what the landlord says.I can not express enough my frustration and anger with their service and lack of professionalism in handling the situation and false advertisements and promises. Absurd and preposterous.They do not deserve my business and my tenancy.They have placed me in a situation where a day prior to collecting the keys, I had to find storage for my personal belongings instead and stay in a temporary place till I find a suitable place, costing me dollars, anxiety, and emotional distress.This should have been an easy process, which was supposed to be positive and exciting.I am getting legal advice to take this matter to VCAT, seeking compensation for emotional and financial damages.
