IKEA DC Sydney

Don't waste your time with Ikea online. Staff don't know what they are doing. You have to make numerous calls to get things sorted and wait online for 45 mins plus each time. My last time I was on hold for an hour and a half before getting a hold of someone, to then find out another person didn't do something in the system and that's why my refund still hadn't gone through 13 business days later. Now to be told I have to wait all over again to receive my refund, is absolutely ridiculous and such bad customer service.DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. Not worth all the hassles and waste of time. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone

There's a reason why they won the beat factory award of Australia. It's astonishing to see a factory that is part of the 21st century.

Worst delivery service imaginable. Your order will go back and forth on delivery vans, for absolutely no reason at all. Don't bother logging in to TOLL delivery tracking either. Expect several days delay from the advertised delivery time. POOR customer experience.

Terrible delivery service. Items left at the front of garage in covered exposed to road traffic, when there is a front door with an undercover area and a doorbell, was not notified that the items where dropped. Had to get someone to help carry it in, as we are currently unable to walk, hence why we paid $69 for the delivery service.

Worst online service, waited for the months to get the products delivered and contacted customer service thrice and Everytime they just reorder the same items saying the issue is unidentified. Finally got refund but calling customer service is nightmare, 40-50 min waiting times. Order at your own risk

Waited for weeks after ordering. For some reasons IKEA split my delivery into 4 parcels. Three received via independent courier (South Pacific background, I guess) who was extra nice. One was to be delivered by TOLL which was totally hopeless (as always). TOLL kept loading the fourth parcel (a small one) into truck every morning but driver kept failing to deliver at end of day. No update whatever to me via SMS. I had to chase both TOLL and IKEA again and again wasting so much of my time.Strangely that parcel was finally delivered today after I complained and claimed refund lastly. Now I won't care IKEA loses $11 (cos' I am keeping the parcel and also the refund). There is just no way to return the parcel (or reject the delivery - if I had a chance to - because the TOLL driver had no special instructions to follow - i.e. deliver to me and not just dump it at the door). It is not my fault, but theirs.Noticed that the print on the address label on the previously 'missing' parcel is way too small for any driver to read (even the address/recipient, let alone any special instructions). In fact, special instructions - 'not to be leave unattended', etc, all missing, despite I put it on speficially when placing the order. Well done IKEA and TOLL!

This distribution center, its infrastructure, facilities, machineries inside are state of the art. The building was awarded Australia's best industrial building for 2017 by the Master Builders Association. IKEA Distribution Services AU is one of the best place to work in. Its culture, value and people are amazing.

Product arrived damaged. They give you no method to contact them, chat doesn't work and phone (if you can find it) is perpetually engaged. Spent 10k with them this year. won't be back. Really bad after sales service.
