This was one of my favourite places for a pizza until I ate the veal scaloppine last Saturday night. The breading on the veal was super thick and it was not cooked all the way through and the veal tasted old. I only took a few bites because it didn’t taste fresh (more than half of the plate was left untouched). I didn’t complain and paid and went home. After 4 hours, I started vomiting and having diarrhoea and ended up having the worst food poisoning of my life! I hope you reconsider serving this dish if it continues being so poorly executed!

Had a fantastic valentine day’s meal here. We had the beef ragu and prawn linguine which were absolutely delicious and a good size. Had a giant panacotta for dessert which was also delicious and for $11 it was more than enough for me and hubby. If you want quality Italian food that is extremely reasonably priced, I would highly recommend this place. The only thing I would say could be improved is that the staff could be a little more attentive and they need to work on the wine list as the wine we had wasn’t great. Food was 10/10 though.

Had the most beautiful dinner last night. Food was fresh, flavourful, and generous in portion size. Service was exceptional. Love the big windows and watching the outside light of the day slowly fade as we enjoyed our food. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Loved the garlic bread. Highly recommended for real deal Italian meals.

Really enjoyed dinner here on Saturday evening, it is a BYO (with corking fee) but there is a bottle shop next door. We shared an Antipasto plate for starter and a Calzone pizza and Boscaiola, all of which were delicious. Would definitely come back.

Thought we try something different to our normal Italian place in Newie.But our expectations for good flavoursome Italian cuisine, was not what we got. The place didn't feel, sound or taste like proper italian flavours.My friend even felt sick later that night but they ate thier whole dish and i did not.Never tried the pizza, so maybe that is the only thing good here.Sorry will not be coming back here.

Wow !! Myself and my partner have found our new favourite Italian in Newcastle. The food was absolutely delicious. We had pizza, pastas and an entree and the portion sizes were just right, very good value for money. We will be back.

Really just very boring food, pesto pasta was tomato based, couldn’t taste any pesto, pasta was packet pasta and for a $25 dish was very disappointing. Garlic prawns were ok, the rocket pear and walnut salad was nice. An expensive meal with no atmosphere or anything special.

We decided to give Italys pantry a try after receiving the menu in our mailbox, not something we usually do, and to be honest didn’t expect too much. But an easy nights dinner was called for.When I say that I was blown away, that is an absolute understatement!! I’d pay to dollar in a water front boutique restaurant for this food and STILL feel like I got a bargain.I don’t think I’ve ever in my life fallen in love in just one mouthful. But here I am. In love!The food was brilliant, fresh, zesty, it was traditional yet new, and creative.The service was lovely (ordered take away, and the small interaction that I had with staff was exceptional).& the price. Well. Underpriced if you ask my honest opinion.Thank you! We will be back (insert drool emoji here)
