Fade Men's Barber

I feel like going here means getting grifted. I've been going here regularly for beard trims and every time it's a pretty average job and not worth the $35 odd they charge. I'll go home and have a wash afterwards and they will have missed layers and spots that they hid by putting in beard oil. I've had a different barber there each time and it's the same story. One time they even overcharged me for beard oil after quoting me a different price.Now my wife took our son there and they charged her $40 to do his hair. He's 5 years old. Has anyone ever heard of a $40 hair cut for a 5 year old? They tried to claim it was because it was a fade". Due to his racial background his head shape and hair are different and to overcharge based on having to accommodate that is arguably racial discrimination. It is not a "fade" just because you actually had to actually do a good job and put in the effort for once. These guys will hustle as much as they can. Maybe spend more money on training your staff instead of the flash surroundings and higher rent."

I have been going to Ethan for over a year now and I have been absolutely please in his handy work. He is not only a great barber he is a very nice person as well. Quite an artist and very pleasant to deal with. When he smiles , you smile with him. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any barbershop in the history of my life.With a queue of people waiting (with their numbered tickets), blokes who “knew the boiz” just waltzed in repeatedly and cut in from of paying customers.Security guards (presumably employees of Eastland) hovering around the chairs, doing shadow boxing and whipping towels is a bad reflection on both the business and the centre.It’s unfortunate that this business is in such a premium location, which allows their business to survive. If this barbershop was in a lesser space on in a suburban block of shops, it would close its doors, without a doubt.I won’t ever go back in.And I feel bad for anyone who does.Consider this your warning, punters.

Decided to stop using this place after they skipped my ticket (1hr wait) yet when I spoke up about it, I was told I wasn’t listening to the numbers being called out? (They skipped over two numbers, so this is impossible… I was listening intently!) Doesn’t take much to just say “sorry mate, our mistake” and try and provide a good experience…instead they had to insist I was in the wrong. It’s sad, because I’ve had a few nice cuts here. Never coming back.

I will start by saying, I have been going to Fade since they first opened at Eastland way back when. They’re popular and it shows. I never minded waiting for a haircut there as the guys always did a good job and left you walking out feeling good with a cracker cut.Yet, going for a cut, the guy that was there flat out refused to cut my hair unless he washed it, which would cost an extra $50 on top of the cut. Never has anyone said this to me when I’ve gone for a cut, not once.But apparently now, having product in your hair is a no-no. I don’t mind good paying money for a good cut, but I refuse to pay $50 for a grown man to wash my hair for me, I’m sorry it’s ridiculous.Never had this happened here before, and I’ll never find out if it will happen again. I doubt that I’ll ever be back, which is a real shame.Time to find a new barber.

Came in wanting a dusty, and my man Ali, did it perfectly. Best environment to get a haircut in. Alie was the First barber I’ve been able to constantly have a conversation with throughout the whole cut. Been coming here for 2 years now and never fails to disappoint!!

Been coming here every few weeks for years.This place is busy and there is a line out front for a reason, because the barbers know what they are doing and those who know that prepare in advance.I generally grab a ticket go and have lunch and return to find I’m the next number up, I’m not one of the ‘boys’ jumping the queue as some other comments alluded I’m just smart enough use my time wisely.Amazed in this day and age there are comments about foreign language being used between some staff! They all speak perfect English (their second language!) to customers and on the rare occasions converse briefly in their native language, big deal! People who take the effort to leave a negative review on this basis are a disgrace.

Unbelievable service from Alex and the team. Highly skilled and experienced cuts with an attention to detail that’s unmatched, even by cuts twice the price. Completely trust these guys.

I took my two sons here after going to another local barber who absolutely butchered the boys hair. Not only did they fix the mistakes made by the other barber" but they also gave them taper fade cuts which look amazing!! The barbers at Fade are true artists and their attention to detail is amazing. Will definitely be taking my boys back there."
