Excellent service. I worked with a member of the staff who quickly grabbed the tap measure. New Fridge-Freezer will be delivered on Monday with the old removed. Thank you Begents Launceston. You were the only place I visited. Supporting locally owned business is they way I love to shop.

Wonderful service in store by Callum. Same day delivery. Could not be more pleased with store service, prices and conditions. The delivery guys were not so friendly and I had to finish off the tuning myself, but this does not effect my rating of store service.

Had the same experience like other customer on the review. We visited Devonport branch and bought a matress, been told will arrive in a week or two. When we picked up the matress, the  product name was different than what we ordered, the salesperson told us the manufacture change the name so we brought the matress back home. Still think it's kind of strange so we did not unpack the matress and contacted the matress company, they informed us that those are 2 different type of mattress, firm or medium, very different. So we had to bring the matress back. We thought it's weird because they were discussing about the product name when we picked it up. The salesperson said to other store member she had fix it on the invoice. I believed they tried to make us took home the wrong one without knowing. After confirm with manufacture company, I confronted with the salesperson, she said they may made a mistake... but instead of fix it, they chose to lie to us. They offered to reorder it but we had to pay extra 50 for another shipping. I dont understand why I need to pay for their mistake and driving around to carry the matress. No applogise or anything so we asked for a refund.We still want the same matress, so we visited Launceston branch, was in the store for almost 10 minutes with many sales at the counter but not approach to us. We had to approach to them.. the purchasing process was a lot smoother this time, we paid and got the invoice with the product name be very specific, had been told it will be delivered in a week or two and now It's been two months we still havent received the matress yet. We tried to contact the store at least five times, there were no one time they can find our name and phone number for the order. We went into store and they seems had no idea what's going on. I had been told many times that they will look into it and call us back, however we didnt received any phone call...so I asked to speak to the manager, he told us our stuff will be delivered for sure last Friday. But we are not receiving anything yet. We went to store again and the salesman told us will receive it this Friday, and still not delivered...I am not sure what I am paying for, yet. Think twice before you even enter to these stores. Very unprofessional and no customer service at all. We ordered from fantastic furniture and also early settler, they both had very clear schedules if you need to wait for months, at least you know what's going on. But with Begents...not a chance.We received the matress after the weekend, and the matress was finally the right one, however the bed frame was the display one, which had some scratches and broken fabrics and stains. And we did not order the floor stock. We also realised there were missing parts, no bed legs, remote or cords with delivery. They said everything should be here they had no idea but will contact the store. I called them and found out they put the parts in the box and its still in the warehouse. Just can't believe how the bed base arrived without any wraping and protection, missing parts. Feels like buying at 2nd hand shop. Terrible purchase experience. Will never come back again.

Had a look at a mattress. Found the one that suited us best (Firm). Spoke to the sales man and paid it off.Deliver was a plush which we didn’t at the time know was the firmness of the mattress.Spoke to a salesman who said I’ll look into it — week two no phone call — week three again ask a salesman and told the same — will look into it.Week four again told a salesman about the problem and again was told he will look into it.Week five — called and was told they will call the mattress company and fix the problem.Got a call from the mattress company and they said why wouldn’t Begets just replace out mattress to the one ordered?They then said for them to do it you would be looking at $350 plus a $40 shipping cost.We paid $1,200 for the mattress to receive the incorrect mattress and now we need to pay out other $390 to fix there mistake.Everyone has told us how wrong this is.

Love supporting local business. The amazing thing is after doing comparison with the multinational big chains we saved over $200. Charlie was excellent with customer service. Definitely be a repeat client. The best thing is any profit stays in Tasmania.

Went into Begents today (Saturday) and there seemed to be be plenty of staff around and the store seemed pretty quiet. No staff acknowledged us and no one approached us to to assist us with our queries. After looking and wandering around for awhile, still no service so we left. I purchased a dining setting and lounge suite at Living Room instead. Maybe I am the exception but this was my experience so my review reflects this.
