Great neighbourhood bistro. Nice cosy dining space, friendly service and really nice food.The calamari was absolutely sensational, the roast chicken pappardelle was good. And the golden gaytime was complex and a delicious finish to the meal.Our only disappointment was the relatively small wine list. I guess with having ‘wine’ in the restaurant name you assume there will be a wide selection.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here last night. I booked the smaller private dining room for a group of 8 ladies. We had a lovely night and a good laugh without disturbing other guests. The room was great, food was fabulous and our waitress really made sure that we had a great night.

A great little restaurant on the corner of Ripponlea Station! Came here for my partner's birthday and it was so enjoyable.Service was spot on! thank you to everyone who served us ~ you were all a gem ❤Food was awesome! We got the Truffle fries, calamari, crab spagetti, gnocchi and chocolate pudding dessert. The highlights were definately the choc pudding and the fries!For drinks we ordered a pinot noir and a berry mocktail ~ lovely wine but the mocktail was a bit sweet and missed the blueberry part :/ (small detail not a huge issue)4 stars because we thought that the portion sizes for the mains could have been bigger, the gnocchi was definately a bit light on for the price so maybe get the spaghetti if you're looking for something a bit more filling?Otherwise, it was definately a more affordable option for fine dining if you're looking for good quality food without overpaying for who knows what these days! Will definately be back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the confit duck. It was pretty good and the plating was amazing but I feel for the price the meat did not have the melt in your mouth texture I expected. Worth a try but I am not typically a fine diner so I would only recommend to those willing to go all out.

Do not order a Steak if you are not willing to pay an extra $9 for no reason!! ($52 for a steak plus $9)Definitely not worth the price you pay for the food.This place is a total rip off!

First I'd like to start off by mentioning how friendly & warm all of the staff were. They definitely contributed to the relaxed atmosphere this place has to offer.The food itself was wonderful, I especially loved the Calamari & the Cauliflower Florets. The cocktails menu while small was pretty well done. I had the Goombay Smash & the Unicorn Tears. Would definitely recommend both.The food is a little on the pricey side however, it was a good night overall!

Probably one of the most comfortable and cosiest restaurants in Melbourne especially on a winters night.The staff are exceptionally friendly and provided our group with excellent service. ( A big shout out to Carlos who looked after us really well and gave us great advice on the menu without being pushy] Food was fab and beautifully prepared.We had a great night and we will most definitely be back. Great vibes all round.

This place was an amazing experience the staff were really attentive and knew their menu and wine! Great recommendations by our waitress.Spacious private room and seating away from other restaurant goers for a birthday. Food was scrumptious.

Truly lovely atmosphere in these premises. Varied and interesting menu. All our meals were tasty, presented attractively and lived up to their menu descriptions and our expectations. Wait staff were friendly, personable and professional. Seating was comfortable. Overall such a good experience that I hope to visit again to try more of their menu, as I could only order & eat so much on one occasion!
