My wife Janne and I have owned and operated Arajilla Retreat on Lord Howe Island for the last 30 years during which time communications has been one of the most vexatious issues in its successful promotion and management.Lord Howe Island is a remote Island in the Tasman Sea with a population of 300 persons with no modern IT skills, totally reliant on tourism as its only source of income and generally not much known anywhere.We have been availing ourselves of the IT skills of AdvantageIT for the last 15 years in many ways: communication via the internet; maintenance of MYOB and other vital services; sourcing and establishing new computers for us and many other technical issues concerned in the running of a business in such a remote destination.AdvantageIT has delivered exceptional service and skills on a consistent basis enabling us to maintain a successful business.

Advantage IT assist us in the day-to-day running of our Registered Training Organisation, with everything to do with IT. They have recently assisted us to build a website which integrates seamlessly with our Student Management System.Our brief was complex and included a number of variables. We had to link to our Student Management System and feed information back and forwards to and from the system for things like course dates, enrollment data and USI details. We also needed our payment gateway to link from the website to the Student Management System and our bank account. We also required automated invoicing, issuance of a course-specific confirmation email. We also had various changes that we required from a design perspective, including a 3 step booking function.Although the brief was complex, Advantage IT made the whole process simple for us. With very few, detail specific questions, they were able to have a demo site up and running in no time.Ben Chin did a wonderful job with the look and feel of the website, which was exactly as we had imagined. He was very patient and made changes as we requested them promptly. He also filled in a lot of the gaps in our brief and really got a good grasp on what we were looking for.David Adamson also did a wonderful job of incorporating all of the functions that we required within the website. With a short brief on our Student Management System and what we needed the website to do, he was able to work within both systems to demonstrate how the functions would work.Upon launching the website there were no issues, and we received enrollments with no hiccups from the beginning.I am very impressed with Paul and the team at Advantage IT for their efficiency and quality service.
