I hired a car licence class F truck from this location.The man who assisted me yesterday was Richard, who was friendly, professional and calmed my nerves about driving something several times larger than anything I have driven before.He was very detailed in giving tips for me how to work the entire vehicle and even tell me the easiest/safest way for a large vehicle to drive to my house to collect my stuff for moving.Even if he forgot to initially put the trolley in the truck too, he was quick to rectify that and it gave me a good opportunity to navigate some streets as a bit of practice to come and collect it, so I had no issues with that. We can all forget sometimes and it didn’t dampen my experience.Even dropping off the truck today, Richard may not have been the one serving me, but he did stop to check on me and how I went with driving and he made me feel proud for successfully driving it without issue.Thanks for making my experience hiring with you enjoyable!

Normally happy with the service here but after booking over a week in advance I was told by staff they didn’t have a navigation unit for me to hire. This was a bit of a shock as it showed no reservation or prioritisation based on booking process whatsoever. In previous tunes I’ve never had an issue but this was disappointing. I was told to go rent one from a Budget in the way which delayed our family trip by over 30 minutes.

Great customer service by friendly staff members, the office was very clean and my vehicle was beautiful, I got a free upgrade it was fantastic!

All good until I went to return the truck! i had refuel to max and gauge showed Full, but Budget has different definition of full talk. They expect tank to overflow or filled to the brim so it nearly over flow. it's a trap. I suspect they did the same with previous customer and Budget filled the tank to the brim charging $2 per litre to the customer.

Friendly staff with a quick and easy transaction. Effortless to hire a truck and the staff explained all of the necessary information on the spot. The truck we hired was kind of old and some features did not work correctly. Aside from this, awesome experience.

***HARASSING - STRESSFUL - RIP OFF******DON'T EVER EVER USE THEM!***More than an hour before the vehicle was due back, the office harassed me about returning the vehicle. The office staff constantly called my phone till i answered.** I WAS DRIVING ** As you do when you hire a vehicle!!I had to stop & answer. I advised I would be late returning the vehicle. They whinged and whined at me about it, which made me later still. I had to rush to make to time. As advised I arrived 1 hour late returning vehicle. Everything else fine, it appeared the office staff wanted to go home early!! They blew me off & charged me for an extra day but wouldn't let me keep the vehicle to use. I disputed saying I wish to keep it if they were charging me. They said the manager would sort the cost first thing the next morning. Next morning the manager sorted nothing. He just left a message to say they were still going to charge me.I hire vehicles a lot. I will NEVER use Budget Car & Truck Rentals ROCKLEA QLD EVER AGAIN!! THE WORST VEHICLE HIRE EVER!!

Excellent service and good vehicle. We were held up and arrived after they had closed, and were surprised to find they had no after- hours number.But I called the agency owner and he organised for an employee to open up again, so we could collect the car.Top-class service, and the employee earned himself a decent tip.

I rented an automatic Toyota Hi Ace for the day to shift house. The rental plus insurance price is a great deal.

I was not happy that the car I booked was not available on the day of pick up, and that I was given an inferior car to what I booked without any discount.
