Department of Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre Strathpine

Slow to be seen and busy. You will need to take a whole day off work just to do something so simple. Tried online services then states come to shop front.Staff are amazing and friendly however Department of Transport needs to get a bigger venue and hire more staff to keep up with demand.Thank you Leonie for your amazing help and friendly service. Wish I could give a full 5 stars as it was nothing to do with staff more about wait times and how busy it was and not having enough seating for all people.The review I have read seem to be similar with wait times, and all they reply is fill a feedback form. How about fixing the issues

I went today to get a photo taken to renew my blue card and was told there was a 2hr wait, really.....All the poor people ahead of me were waiting outside. Atleast give people somewhere comfortable out of the weather to wait. Might need to provide tea and biscuits too if there if always a 2hr wait.

Visited just after the New Years' public holidays so expected it to be packed. Rocked up at 9.15 and the waiting room was already at capacity with the queue spilling out into the carpark. Steeled myself for a long wait (it ended up being an hr). However, when i did make it into the waiting room i had a lot of time to observe the staff serving people and i was beyond impressed. All the staff worked quickly and efficiently (and kindly) and the queue was processed amazingly. I even saw people thank staff and the security guard on the way out. Something is right in that workplace. DTMR Strathpine staff, you should be proud of the amazing service you deliver.

Outstanding customer service. The place was packed and the staff were working super fast to help move the line. Their attention to detail and ability to stay level headed and give great service was exceptional.

If standing around talking all day with multiple empty service desks was what this place was about it would get 5 stars! Shocking how half the staff are leisurely walking about while there’s 30min + wait times.

Got there first up Monday morning, after 3 attempts during the week to get served. the security guard was brilliant, pointed me in the right direction and the service I received was excellent. Maybe a little understaffed, but who isn't at the moment

They're helpful and cheerful. I went in to order my Qld driving licence and the wait was 40 minutes as I arrived at 3:30pm during their after-work rush time.

Don't recommend if you are trying to get your P's at all.Most the examiners are fine from what I have heard, but from others and my personal experience there is a specific one that will fail you with no hesitation (they've got a strong fail reputation) and is so passive aggressive the whole test it's not funny.Unless you are a perfect person don't risk it on the off chance you don't get them, just go to a different testing place please. It'll save you some money and time.

Excellent service by Branch Supervisor . Very helpful when dealing with both my parents on surrendering their licences due to dementia. The lady made the visit as pain free and quick as possible. God bless her. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve had such good service !!! Thank you !!!

Nearly an hours wait. Watching new arrivals being served while I being handicaps had to wait for someone who could handle registration of a ride on mobility scooter. Finally a supervisor kindly saw me. She was wonderful
