Used to be so good. The place has gone downhill. Bought chicken schnitzel wasn't crumbed properly took out and list of chicken showing through cooked and all crumbs fell off

Interesting experience - a “manager» walks in, gives two customers chicken, says it’s for free. The first customer gets it, the second (me) is told by cashier that it’s not free and I have to pay. Well ok, here’s your review then.

The place has really gone to the dogs. Empty shelves, uninviting environment and prices have inflated ridiculously to the point where the major supermarkets appear cheaper. I’ve seen them selling expired best before products in their fridges and if I get something from there I’m sure to use it well before best before as I find their fridge life isn’t great. I went recently and there was really nothing worth buying due to their prices having gone up. They have reduced stock but the reductions are minimal. It used to be good about a year or so ago but I dunno, I get the feeling they’re gonna shut up shop soon the way it’s going.

This is a wonderful place to shop and you will get TOP TOP VALUE FOR $$. Their products are well presented and, nobody can offer their prices. From chicken to beef and eggs and seafood and more. Seniors get 5% discount 7 days a week. We buy from Proud Chic Mega Meats on regular basis and for many years. We love this place!Warn you: once you visit you will be hooked and what a great & pleasant surprise!

Not bad. A lot of shelves were empty, came here on a very quiet Sunday next to nobody here. The chicken here is reasonably priced but the other meats like beef and lamb was on par with Coles & Woolies.

Not a bad place to pick up meats at very reasonable prices, good variety. A range of frozen products, roast chooks , eggs and a variety of sauces/marinades.

Great service.But monday is light on product,after the weekend.

Ok started buying here after seeing some good reviews never ever again I will buy here Aldi meat is better than this I was really disappointed my father was a butcher for Many years I bought beef snitzel from here wow look really nice In the packet really red I bought it day 1 opened it day 1 I buy my meat daily the meat in the packet was overlapped I took it out and seperate the meat and noticed the meat where it over lapped was grey very disappointing pay good money for what don’t ever go here that’s my review and my true experience what I think and my father used to say is butchers throw a white powder over the meat to make it red when meats look to pretty don’t buy it

W went there today, we bought chicken spare ribs, great for a curry or baked in the oven. Chicken Schnitzel already crumbed. Chicken Kebab 8pack (Satay) flavoured.

Lots of water in meat products. Photos below show the amount of water from beef. Similar results from chicken and pork. That's very expensive water...
