First thought when I bit into the pain au chocalate was “Paris”…. Cappuccino was great, croissant was tender and flaky and the fresh squeezed OJ was delish!

SHOCKED! I am a long term customer, who buys bread and other pastries and have sent many people to the store. I have rated there food very highly. Today they had no bread, and whilst I was asking the very helpful counter staff if they were no longer doing bread or if they knew of any where else I could go. The young male - who told me he was a co-owner, raised his voice was incredibly rude to me and when I showed how shocked i was, he laughed at me. And then continued to insult me. The two counter staff were equally as shocked looked at me as if to say sorry. I just could not understand why an owner would treat a regular patron in such a manner. SHOCKED!

Delicious fresh crossaints, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I was very glad to see something open in Southbank early Sunday morning as the only other choice really is McDonalds. Plenty of baguettes, wraps, pastries, and cakes that all look very nice. Indoor and outdoor seating and also have bathrooms.

A Treat of France was a cafe/bakery located in Southbank. It seemed that most of their offerings were just the ones they had on the display, although they did have some menu items also. Most things were made for takeaway only which was a bit weird as they had quite a few tables available in the cafe. Had coffee and waffles, the coffee was’t great as it was burnt and bitter, but the waffles were pretty tasty; the sour fruit compote was well balanced with the ice cream. Service was ok. Would try some of their cakes next.

I recently visited a Treat of France and was transported to Paris with its authentic ambiance and delicious cuisine. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the scent of freshly baked croissants. The menu offered a wide range of classic French dishes, each expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I had the pleasure of trying the escargot and bouillabaisse, both of which were mouth-wateringly good. The coffee was robust and perfectly brewed, adding the finishing touch to my delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a taste of France in a cozy and inviting atmosphere
