Highly recommend, not a normal fish and chip shop. These guys celebrate seafood. You can taste the fresh fish, and enjoy a great beer on tap.Oysters were creamy and fresh, mixed seafood plate gives you the variety you crave.The price is worth it, treat yourself and eat here.

To be honest, the food is not that good. Food served is huge but taste is so so bland. Ordered the fish chip that supposed to be their signature.. however it is rather too dry inside and is bland. The fried calamari is acceptable . The mussel pot with Asian spice is just average .. the mussel is miserably small flesh in size. It was nearly 3pm but food can take more than for our turn with probably 2-3 tables occupied. Not impressive as is rather expensive too! Not worth my calories!

Had a lovely late lunch / early dinner here with flake & calamari. Super fresh, fast service, delicious & at a good price. Recommend!Always a plus: nice interior / exterior and clean bathrooms, all with attention to detail.

Thought it was a little expensive initially but you get a great serving of seafood, would recommend sharing. Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had, super fresh and not greasy. We got one grilled and one fried basket and both were delicious.

Food was good, but under salted (which is probably for the better since you can just salt more later). Only thing is if you sit outside, be prepared to be gawked by cockatoos who want a bite. Good thing is the waiter kept coming out to scare off/spray the cockatoos with water. Pricewise a little expensive (reasonable for Lorne but objectively expensive).

Really enjoyed their Seafood Basket, much better than your usual fish and chips shop. The batter was crispy, light and fluffy and seafood was very fresh.The Seafood Basket had fish, calamari and prawns, all very tasty but enjoyed the prawns the most.

The seafood basket was a good amount of food for two people. Love that it came with both chips and salad. They do charge $2.50 for tomato sauce though

My wife had some beautiful Barra. But the restaurant is next to Chopstix which I believe is the same owner. And the green curry chook was amazing. Plus they have a chilli station with ober 30 hot sauces. Yessss!

Ok but could be so much better. I had the Lorne Seafood basket; the fish is ok, the chips however were stale and lacking any crunch. Felt like they’ve been sitting in the kitchen for a while. The accompanying salad was nice but too much oil for my liking.The potato cake however was excellent. Seriously strange and confusing that the potato cake had more seasoning then the chips.The service could also do with some improving; dull, no smiles behind the counter and a rather uninspiring atmosphere despite being in beautiful Lorne.The shop next door (Pit Stop) had more excitement and their menu was noticeably cheaper.

A nice fish and chip shop, we had the fish and chips (2 pieces of fish, chip and tartare sauce). This was enough for a nice light lunch shared between two, with the fish cooked well. Definitely worth a visit when I’m the area.
